Decided to go to the beach for a little picnic...it was such a beautiful and warm sunny day at home....oh well...what can you do. At least the picnic was tasty. This was pretty much the only shot out of 60+ that I am happy with...
Can't think of a name for this one....

The river near Owen Sound, Ontario, and flows generally north-west about 160 kilometres (99 mi) before exiting into Lake Huron. The river is navigable for some distance and it's a favorite for fishing and canoeing. The river's name comes from the Ojibwa language, meaning outlet or mouth of the river. The Saugeen Valley Trail runs along the Saugeen River in Mount Forest. In Wellington North, the trailsystem connects three parks in Mount Forest, with a variety of landscapes, from reforested areas to wetlands,
I was in one of the parks when I took this shot of the egret, cormorant, Canada geese, and one mallard enjoying the river. Effects added.

... As many times before, I've visited the group of "my" dearly beloved old weeping willows this evening.
They start now wearing their golden autumn dress, which will change every day,
caused to the cold nights..
The transluency of the trees on the hang behind them add a special touch..

Wishing you a lovely week ahead, dear friends.

It's October here in Hill Country. The farms are regurgitating their yields. The fields have swapped ripening for dying to themselves. The golden sun has traded in it's warmth with shorter days and dark mornings.

A return to winter this week, with gales, snow and hailstorms. The gales have taken the hailstones from the big barley field behind us, and piled them against the house! In the evening sunlight, the field looks quite benign!
Happy Monochrome Thursday! ;o)

This is my first use of the new Flypaper Textures. They are so wonderful...I'm quite excited to be using them. Thanks to Jill and Paul.
This image is another one of the Hydrangea take.
Another misty January shot, across the howe/valley from us. As the sun rose behind the hill the mist came and went - swirled around, revealing and then obscuring the scene. Just when I thought the magic show was over, it started again. So I did take quite a few shots, and this one is the sister to the one in the first comment field - giving a wider view of the hillside ;o)
HFF!! and have a lovely weekend!

If you find me in a gloom, or catch me in a dream
Inside my lonely room, there is no in between
Whispering pines, rising of the tide
If only one star shines
That's just enough to get inside
Bom, o dia estava bonito.
Ana, Oh Ana....
Minha mulher talvez deixaria eu ficar com tanta regalia assim.
Se:
Eu estivesse 300% impotente.
O negocio ja nao trabalhando mesmo
se a porta do carro estivesse amassado a minha mao
tivesse queimado minha lingua.
