Must admit, every once in a while I wish Cayman were tiny so I could scoop him up instead of being pulled by his 85 lbs.
Tiny Ami cat pattern from Ana's book.....I customized it just a bit to make it look "Halloween-ish", and made the little pumpkin bag to go with it...
Found this tiny spiderling the other day, I have seen what appear to be adults, much larger than this one but only managed one decent shot. This one was trying to put out a silk thread and float away, but with virtually no breeze it could'nt lift off.
I do'nt have a book to ID this so any help would be appreciated ;o))

Third time lucky. This was my third attempt at a having a little stroll in the mountains this fall. A tiny grasshopper sitting on a Clivia Flower stamen. He refused to turn around for me in this position.
These flowers, which are under my front deck, were a hive of activity this morning after some long awaited rain over the last couple of days. I spotted this grasshopper, a snail, spiders, bees and other assorted flying insects dropping by to inspect the offerings - all within the space of 5 minutes and within about 10cm of each other. It's an amazing world that a macro lens allows you to discover.
