These were blooming low in the grass. I'm not sure what the pink and blue orbs in the lower flower are. My husband says they are teeny-tiny Easter eggs. Hmmmm.
Tiny parasitic wasps, less than 1mm long, found in an apple gall. Photo through plastic vial which they pupated in.
Just more Macro photography with my often neglected Canon EFS 60mm Macro lens.
These are REALLY tiny beads, less then 1/16" (about 1.5mm) in diameter

Tiny parasitoid wasp. This wasp was trotting at high speed over the lid of my neighbour's garden waste wheeliebin.
I tapped the lid which sometimes makes small bugs freeze but this one actually fell over and played dead for a while. 1.06mm body length
Not too many of these around, but peppered around the divesites of Lembeh. Seapens are actually soft corals.

A tiny mushroom growing in the moss along the trail in Great Falls National Park, VA, USA.
Google Lens IDs this as a mushroom from the genus Amanita, possibly a species such as Amanita gemmata (Jeweled Amanita) or Amanita citrina (False Death Cap).
This is a tiny redbud tree seedling, growing in my neighbor's rock garden. Reminds me of a "valentine" from garden-elves! Please note: my app (which I really like) for adding a frame to my shots somehow substitutes the date that the frame was added in place of the date the shot was actually taken. In reality, this photo was taken on 10/15/2011, using a Canon PowerShot A1000-IS.

114/365: Tonight we made tiny paper garlands for the Christmas tree using origami papers. I love tiny things -- even though altogether it is barely two feet long, it looks darling on the tree :)
