I shot this image to illustrate the word 'tiny'. I think that it works well because you can see how tiny the bottle is by relating it to the hand. If the hand wasn't there, you wouldn't get the sense of scale and the bottle could look like a full size one.

The neutral background works well because it complements the subject and doesn't take your attention away from it.

The curve of the hand works well too because it encourages your eyes to follow it and this gives the image a nice sense of movement and flow.

The smiling sun painting on the wall behind Tiny is on the side of my house~~~the neighbor's have a great view of it.

This tiny baby mantis must have recently hatched. It was only about 2 cm long. We helped her get back to the tall beachgrass.

This is one of my tiny robots. he can walk or fly.

These very tiny Crabapples were growing wild at Carburn Park. At first, we thought they were berries, but then saw that they were Crabapples. I thought they looked so pretty and bright. Maybe 45 minutes later, I had one injured finger (tendon totally ripped from the bone plus a fine fracture, and now in a splint) when I slipped on some very slippery fall leaves and landed on my right hand. I'm having fun (yeah, right!), trying to type with just my left hand! Note to self - try NOT to complain every single day, LOL! Sorry, everyone, looks like I won't be able to comment too much. Know that I will still be thoroughly enjoying your photos, though!!!

I'm not sure of the name for these. They're about 5mm in diameter (3/16").

This is a tiny tallship. I was talking to someone while watching this boat leave Cowes Harbour, who told me that these ships are scale replicas of their much bigger sisters. They are used for crews to train and learn their way around a real tallship, so that they can then go and race the real thing.

This was a little fiddly to knit but looks so cute.

Found this tiny grass-hopper like insect on a rose plant in my garden. Its about 5-6 mm in length.

Cropped image.

Tiny lipgloss pots. The flavours smell quite nice, but you wouldn't want to eat them.
