... inside world's smallest hot air balloon

I do not know the name of this flower but it is very tiny (about 1.5 to 2 cm in size), very delicate and cute looking flower.

A bright, sunny and cold! February morning making the colours deep and rich, at Sheffield canal basin. The barge in the foreground is the 'Tiny Purple'.

One of the last series of blooming winter jasmine flowers, a tiny flower of app. 1 cm in total.

Shot in the beautiful garden in the neighbourhood where I am allowed to shoot whenever I want and whatever I want.

In the background a thick layer of branches forming a hedge. By the thickness of the hedge you can tell this winter jasmine plant is very old already, fitting the mansion that must be over 120 years old.

Must admit, every once in a while I wish Cayman were tiny so I could scoop him up instead of being pulled by his 85 lbs.

Tiny Valley

*

and you walked together toward

love in a green meadow

to understand anything of skin,

the aspens’ flicker of dizzy,

ants, dirt over your face

*

darkness brought the room closer

made the earth shake out

of your ear here touch

the unimaginable bareness could make

us small again, again delight

*

flame is what wind wants

out of my body the straw

body turning to mice now

a heart forests beneath sleeping

and fang light clanging out

This one was tiny compared to the rest and had a little blue on it.

Qué preciosa es !!! ♥

Third time lucky. This was my third attempt at a having a little stroll in the mountains this fall. The first two times I was thwarted by all the rock slides that happened after the heavy rain in July. But the trails on Fukuchi mountain have more or less been reestablished so we were able to enjoy a beautiful day.

It is hard to believe that this little trickle of water could swell and cause all the mass wasting in the next image.

A tiny grasshopper sitting on a Clivia Flower stamen. He refused to turn around for me in this position.

These flowers, which are under my front deck, were a hive of activity this morning after some long awaited rain over the last couple of days. I spotted this grasshopper, a snail, spiders, bees and other assorted flying insects dropping by to inspect the offerings - all within the space of 5 minutes and within about 10cm of each other. It's an amazing world that a macro lens allows you to discover.
