Assembled the thick felt which was cut with a laser cutter from my Illustrator data. I love tiny houses!
These are quite tiny...little grass flowers. Got down on my stomach for these...I so love taking photo's of flowers, especially little ones. This is my favorite out of this set.
Each one of these is smaller than your pinkie fingernail and you have to be alert to find them. This image was made in direct sunlight, but it's almost too bright and sparkly, so I've included another, which I shot under a diffuser -- something for everybody. :-)
Walking around the neighborhood with the 60mm macro lens is a great way to hone the skill of observation. These tiny pod-like blooms blend in so well with the foliage on the bush that you probably wouldn't even notice them if just passing by. But with the macro lens and its ~6 inch minimum focal length nothing is too small for a photo op !
I don't usually haul along the tripod when doing neighborhood macros, but I probably should try that, since the 60mm lens has such a narrow dof that it's very tricky to keep anything in focus.

Made with 3/4" squares and 1/8" seam allowances and scraps from my tiny-scraps basket. I love the little patchwork and really love the project I made from it. I will share that very soon... And I will include the pattern piece and quick "tutorial" to make your own!

These tiny mushrooms are in the little patch of woods near my house. I didn't stay to take photos of them for long because the mosquitoes there were fierce, but I had to pause to admire such pretty tiny things.

This tiny Lego "micro-grabber" uses only 12 parts to attach onto a Lego Mindstorms EV3 Medium Motor. The small, geared pincers are 24014 "Technic, Arm with Gear 8 Tooth and 1.5L Axle" ( www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24014#T=C... ) that turn when the black Worm Gear rotates. The micro-grabber at the top shows optional, black 45590 "Technic, Axle Connector Double Flexible (Rubber)" pieces ( www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=45590#T=C ) to keep things from slipping. To make the pincers longer, one could add Technic Axle Connectors ( www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6538c#T=C ) to hold Technic Axles. Or, one could add some bent #3-#6 Technic Connectors on the ends of the pincers. Former broad gauge locomotive TINY is seen on it's plinth at Newton Abbot station on 3rd September 1979.
Built in 1868 for the South Devon Railway, the locomotive worked at Sutton Docks until 1883. It was then installed as part of the hydrostatic test stand in Newton Abbot shed, where it stayed until 1927. It was then refurbished and placed on display as seen here until the mid-1980s, when it was moved to the Buckfastleigh museum.
