57-shot, natural-light stack of a tiny orb weaver at 4x on an APS-C sensor. Taken in the early morning with my new set-up: Sirui carbon-fiber tripod, Sunwayfoto mini ballhead, Hejnar Photo 8-inch macro rail, subject held with Redged mini tripod, Manfrotto articulating arm and clamp. In a couple months after I have gotten a better feel for all this new equipment, I will post photos of my set-up and a review of some of it.

This snail was very small - about 5mm long. He stopped to look at me for a bit, then moved on. I rather liked the way he was perched on the edge of the leaf.
I'm wondering about using my teleconverter again to get a bit more depth of field - it's so shallow, especially with the full-frame 5D.

This tiny jewel wasp was shot @ 5:1 an early morning in July 2013. It was just about to "wake up" so I had to hurry and I only had time for this this (diffraction limited) 19 exposure sequence before the wasp was on the move.
Stacked from 19 natural light exposures in Zerene Stacker.

It's featherless Sunday again.
While doing some macro work at Arthur Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee NWR, I noticed this tiny frog sitting quietly on the leaf of a vine. I don't know what kind it is, I just thought it made a very good macro subject.

Rua do Comércio do Porto - Porto - Portugal
Sandeman logo on a buinding in Porto, Portugal, seems almost like a watchman watching over the city. In the background is a tiny helicopter that crosses the skies in at that moment.
Logotipo da Sandeman num prédio no Porto, parece quase como um vigilante observando a cidade. No fundo pode-se ver um pequeno helicóptero que cruzava os céus naquele momento.
