“Life is made up of small pleasures. Happiness is made up of those tiny successes. The big ones come too infrequently. And if you don't collect all these tiny successes, the big ones don't really mean anything.”
~ Norman Lear

Former broad gauge locomotive TINY is seen on it's plinth at Newton Abbot station on 3rd September 1979.
Built in 1868 for the South Devon Railway, the locomotive worked at Sutton Docks until 1883. It was then installed as part of the hydrostatic test stand in Newton Abbot shed, where it stayed until 1927. It was then refurbished and placed on display as seen here until the mid-1980s, when it was moved to the Buckfastleigh museum.

The idea of taking pictures of as toy in various places is inspired by Antontang who takes pictures of a little cardboard box person called Danbo.

A building for tiny and small ungulates, made for Paradizoo, a zoo in the wetter forests of Australia.
I am able to withstand the impulse comestibles by the cash registers at Trader Joe's, but apparently not the impulse flora. This is the cutest tiny daff in the cutest spring green ceramic pot.
Tiny Fungus
A closer shot of one of the tiny mushrooms on a stump, showing detail of the gills. This macro was done with an inexpensive "Macro Ring" (not a reversing ring or any extra glass) and the "kit" zoom lens on the OM-D E-M5
I told you I love the tiny Schleich-animals. they are running around the house here (NOT only in the children's room)
Here's another #tiny card of about 6 x 6 cm (2.5 x 2.5'') for a lovely person who’s favourite “colour” is black.

The card is made from off-white #cardstock, #Aquarell @SchminckePaint www.schmincke.de/produkte/aquarellfarben/horadam-aquarell... on @hahnemuehle #Fineart #Britannia #watercolour #paper with a @royallangnickel Royal & Langnickel brush @royalbrushart. For the #silver rays I used a @pentel_eu #Pentel silver gel ink roller #gelroller #gelink. I then took the picture with my #iPhone.

Reflection captured in a tiny puddle only about 1/4 inch deep and 10 inches across. I decided not to crop out the concrete at the top so that the viewer can see why the upside-down trees are not in perfect focus.

A tiny friend from my trip to the garden this morning. I managed to be in the right place at the right time... just before the wind picked up and the rain mixed with snow started and I headed home. Gotta love New Mexico in May!
I was going to catch up with everyone Thursday night but "bad panda" showed up right after I posted "Alone" and I called it an evening.
