Offically I'm 1/3 done with my 100 Strangers Project. So there is no better time for me to introduce "Tiny" to you. I was sitting in the shade as it was way over 100 degrees, super windy and dry enjoying a cool beverage. Then out of the corner of my eye I see this man on a horse, or a man in a horse walking on by. I started to crack up and said, "Oh I have to meet this guy". What a great job Tiny has roaming the Fair, making jokes, posing for pictures. The funny thing is, he took his hat off and that long hair is connected to the hat. Tiny doesn't have much hair. Then he acutally sat down on a bench to rest a bit. He had another guy named "Shorty" working with him. They were both funny and continued on their way. This truly is a great costume for Halloween. Tiny was a lot of fun to talk to.
"This picture is #33 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at www.100Strangers.com

I think it's a Cucumber green spider (Araniella cucurbitina)
This was our third word association with the title "elegance." I had a lot of trouble shooting this assignment. Lack of ideas, and motivation lead me to shoot a ballet dancer. I think it worked out pretty well! © Justin Swindle

This tiny Pale Green Assassin bug (in nymph phase) landed on me and it had tiny crystals on it's legs and antenae. And, Yes, that is what my skin looks like on a microscopic level.

Clothes and boots are from the great Carla Benham. She has hands of fairies!!!
this gesture and this tiny little page speaks volumes. makes all the hard times, all the "what ifs" and "if onlys" disappear. this right here makes it all worth while. I originally just snapped an image of this with my iPhone but realized I want this as a piece of art to hang as a reminder that no matter what life throws, I have 3 *tiny people* that have always and will always come first.
I stumbled across a photographer and his model on the streets of downtown Vancouver last week.
For whatever reason, Elton John and Bernie Taupin's song Tiny Dancer popped in to my head as watched the model have effortless movement from pose to pose. This was a nice little distraction while on my lunch hour.
