I stumbled across a photographer and his model on the streets of downtown Vancouver last week.

For whatever reason, Elton John and Bernie Taupin's song Tiny Dancer popped in to my head as watched the model have effortless movement from pose to pose. This was a nice little distraction while on my lunch hour.

Scáthach is a warrior woman from Celtic mythology. She taught the hero Cú Chulainn how to fight, and at one point is tricked into granting him three wishes. (Which is why I have her making a three-fingered gesture.)

A watercolor painted as part of a commission offer in January 2012. The original is just 2.5"x3.5"!

This tiny Pale Green Assassin bug (in nymph phase) landed on me and it had tiny crystals on it's legs and antenae. And, Yes, that is what my skin looks like on a microscopic level.

This is a tiny wasp found on a macro safari in the garden. This is under 3mm long and a heavy crop as I was only set up to shoot at 1:1.

It is on a bramble leaf an ID would be nice.

My TDF Alice arrived! I still don't have a wig for her, I just can't decide on the color. x.x I need to order one soon though, she can't be bald! I hope to be able to faceup her sometime soon too.

This is as close as I want to get to this.

The folks at Backcountry Tiny Homes visited our school campus. I only had my flip-phone camera, and I didn't have a lot of time to compose photos in the small space, but here you go. The house is unfinished. You may visit www.backcountrytinyhomes.com/ to see some of their other work.

Rain on tin roofing. What more is there to say?

Not sure what type, the flowers are very tiny, the bush very small and blossom is in a mass up each branch. Very pretty to see.

I found these tiny plants at the car body shop.

Aerowin as a Clanger/Aardvark

Extremely small native flowers. Placing them on my fingers was the only way I could get a photo, that's the joint of my index finger. Unknown flowers.

Have a wonderful day/evening

This flower was a tiny little thing...and there was a slight breeze that made it difficult in capturing it...this is all I managed to get from it after 7 minutes of trying...think I need a flash or macro-flash soon..

She is my tiny diamond,

exquisite, with an edge.

She rules this small kingdom

I rescued this little frog (about 2.5 cm from nose to tail end) from Zeppy today and brought it in for a few shots. By the time I finished he was pretty grumpy and just wanted to get away. It even attempted to jump off the table. That was when I released it back into the front garden where Zeppy doesn't have access.

All are table top shots but in this one he is sitting directly on the table.

Tiny Gathering. In honour of the NRM’s ‘Great Gathering’ I’m uploading this is a smaller collection which occurred at Aberdeen’s Ferryhill shed (61B) in August 1966.

Gresley 'A4’s' 4-6-2 no.’s 60009 "Union of South Africa" and 60019 "Bittern" receiving some attention. Remarkable, (or not so given this was last place for A4’s) both locomotives were saved for preservation.

Looking back I don’t think I realised just what I was seeing. If I had I might have taken more pictures. But then I only had 36 per roll of film, and limited resources, not like today’s digital era with over a 100 per card!
