So I try not to look at any of the momiji dolls because I think their cuteness is a VERY VERY Slippery slope BUT I was so upset I missed the Calavera momiji that I just positively had to have the new Halloween one for this year <3
Isnt he Adorable <3 Hehe
It’s difficult to capture the unbelievable tininess of these little Field Forget-Me-Nots — each flower is just a few mm across!
after guest blogging a tutorial about pinwheels, i decided to do a tutorial on my blog. how to make a teeny tiny bunting banner.
blogged: katiecupcake.blogspot.com/2009/07/spark-party-tutorial.html
Well, it was tiny when I took this shot but as of yesterday it's about 4 times this size! They grow very fast.
Tiny Planets
This reminds me of a helmet. It's actually The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Alameda Avenue NE here in Albuquerque, NM.
These grow wild in my yard every spring.I guess they are some sort of weed, but don't know their right name.
The cutest grumpy old man had a temporary booth at the mall selling thousands of old printers stamps. I limited myself to two. This one's probably 3/4", tiny and I love it!
The #MacroMondays theme for 2/3 is ring - jewelry one can wear on a finger, to further clarify. Am thinking I’ll try this with the macro clip-on lens later.
Btb, the ring is on a sparkly pipe cleaner because our littlest kitty knocks everything off the counter!

Tiny Vessels by Death Cab for Cutie.
I'm pretty sure this is what he would of said to me if he had the guts.
sorry, feeling a bit uninspired today, not sure about this shot, but I do like the yellow against the brown... you be the judge... :-)

I think they are Mealy bugs... but not sure.
Taken at 5x with the mpe65.
A photo I posted a while ago shows one being a meal for a ladybird larva (in comments below).
You can see the tiny little red eyes on some of them too.
Focus stacked using Zerene.
hemlock pinecones are love!
also just posting this so i could say i CAN'T STAND being forced over to the new photo-view-comment page. it makes my head hurt to read white text on black and the comments might as well not exist. UGHHHH. FLICKR.
There were a pair of these extremely tiny grasshoppers on top of a fence post.
Only saw them because of their almost luminous lime green colour.
And running around like mad.
Possibly, only just hatched, and climbed out of the cracks of the wood, to meet their enormous world.
They were so busy, it was impossible to get them, in focus, and together in one snap.
Was lucky to get this one.
Well, they both ended up on the camera, and I put it down, so they returned to their fence post.
They deserve every chance, they can get….
Tiny, ground-nesting native bee (Homalictus sp?). I went to a dirt patch on my front lawn where a fair amount of Wahlenbergia has been growing wild. I know there are bees living there as I have occasionally seen them darting in and out of their little holes. I decided to make a protracted effort to photograph one. I saw this little cutie roaming around on the soil for a bit. After I took this shot, she found a spot she liked and started digging! Her first digging attempt ended in a retreat (not quite the right spot) so she tried an area a centimetre or so away and went down like a drill! I managed to get some footage of this which I have uploaded along with these photos. I am so excited to have seen this happening right before my eyes! (Blue Mountains, NSW).

I changed Aika into one of the new tiny little outfits I bought. I didn't want to put her into boots, but figured out I could make Kelly doll shoes & socks work so, YAY! (even though my Nari Pons are probably not happy about it). I tried to repaint Aika's eyes, but it didn't look right so I just removed what I did & stopped before I ruined her, so red eyed she stays. I also figured out which Kaiser stand works for them, so I am slowly getting them stuff.
I folded almost every step for this Bahamut and it was absolutely brutal! Just look at the size of the head and claws!

Folded from: 6" Monocolor
Size: about 2 1/2" wingspan
Time spent folding: around 5 hours
