Seen on the Boeing flight line in March 1993 at Paine Field, Everett, Washington State, two new Boeing 767-27G(ERs) HA LHA/LHB for Malev Hungarian AL plus an equally shiny 767-2B7(ER) N 656US destined for US Air.
HA LHA was stored in the USA 2015, HA LHB was scrapped at Budapest in 2013.
N 656US became N 256AY with US Airways, also in storage 2015 at Victorville CA.
Malev ceased operations in 2012 after 66 years of continuous operations.
Went to Three Bags Full for breakie this morning, really cool vibe, nice food & coffee.

Although it was an overcast day with grey seas and skies, i still liked the arrangement of the three different boats here - an old fishing boat, a small pleasure yaght and a high-speed motorboat. Seen off the coast of St. Jean Cap Ferat.

The members of Three Days Grace began bashing punk chords when they were in their teens, carving an energetic sound that fueled their live performances. Three Days Grace was formed in Norwood, Ontario, Canada, in 1997 by Adam Gontier (vocals, guitar), Brad Walst (bass), and Neil Sanderson (drums).
Surface tension keeps water in bubbles on the leaves. As should be familiar to anyone who's visited the Exploratorium, this is due to the nanoscale structure of the plant's leaves. The plant used at the Explo to exemplify this was a nasturtium, but I was delighted on my hike to see more examples of this. I think these are sorrel plants, and on each leaf (see it large) there is a small drop of water right in the crook of the "heart", making it three drops per plant.
Oak trees such as these, dot the landscape of the Willamette Valley in Western Oregon. Can't resist capturing their spender from time to time.

The male Three-wattled Bellbird has a white head, chestnut body, and three long, obvious, blackish-grey wattles at the base of the bill. The female is much more nondescript, lacking the distinct wattles and is yellowish-green overall. Found in high mountain forests, this species is a pronounced altitudinal migrant, wintering in lowland forests. Although silent throughout most of the year, from March through June males of this species give a remarkable, far-carrying “boi-nng,” call from an exposed perch that has been the subject of many studies on vocal communication. Even though this species is known for its loud, piercing call, it is easily overlooked when silent. Only recorded feeding on fruits, the Three-wattled Bellbird may forage by aerial sally or while perched. This species has a restricted range and a small population size of less than 20,000 individuals, which is believed to be declining; due to these factors, the Three-wattled Bellbird has been listed as vulnerable on the IUCN watchlist.

My down-the-street next door neighbor had one of their 40 foot pines topple through their wall, into a next door neighbor's pool equipment area, crushing many pool-related items i.e. valves, pipes and a heater assembly, then finally coming to rest on a different next door neighbor's roof. $$$$
My daughter and grandkids are three of the brightest lights in my world. This is another of the shots I made when they were home for Thanksgiving. Looking forward to seeing them again Christmas.

While shooting a Senior Thesis film in the hills of Ashville North Carolina, we encountered some surprisingly annoying onlookers. I was amazed at how curious these animals were with our presence in their field. They skiddishly sniffed all of our gear and were determined to make it into the shot.
