Richland County. The locally prominent Three Buttes, located about 20 miles west of Sidney, are the namesake of the Three Buttes community (the buttes were featured in a George Catlin painting from the 1830's). A post office first opened at Three Buttes in 1904 (November 8) with James MacKenzie as the postmaster. The post office was located in the MacKenzie home on the north end of the Three Buttes. In 1908. the post office moved about two miles east, to the home of the next postmaster, Mabelle Prevost. Marion Brown (1916) and James Hendrickson (1917) also served as postmaster before the position was filled by Elva Putnam in 1919. The post office was located in the Putnam home (about six miles northeast of the Three Buttes) until the final closure of the office in 1932 (February 29).
Finally able to share some images from the Three Nails Photography workshop that I attended last week in Shreveport! This was so much fun and I am so grateful that I got to attend! In three days we had three styled shoots - engagements, bridals, and a full wedding - and this is from the engagment shoot! Hunter ( of Three Nails Photography ) styled the shoots around Lana Del Rey's 60s style, so we shot the engagments in a pool in someones back yard, kinda like the Blue Jeans music video (her bathing suit is almost exactly like Lana's!). By the way, our model bride is only 17 years old! And this was her first modeling shoot. She was fantastic. And our groom, some of you may recognize as Dez Duron from The Voice! They were amazing to work with!
FUN FACT: I literally had 10 seconds to get this shot, and I had one assistant standing over me with a diffuser, and another pushing the models around the pool with a leaf catcher, haha!

The boy on the left was the only one who got my 'jumping' instruction right. His friends could only look in amazement and surprise.
These are just three of the hundreds of children in Lorega, a depressed community in Cebu City, Philippines. A handful of them are robbed off their childhood - forced to work or beg at the streets, molested by their kin and denied the chance of getting even a primary education.
The local church that I belong to conduct wholistic activities in the area, with the hope and the prayer that these kids will be given a better quality of life despite the overwhelming odds they have gone through.
This is series of three views from my window. Nothing special, but I like them.

This is all I got from my smaller apple tree, only the second time it has fruited. It's a different variety, Gala?
View of three of the four routes leading in and out of Conwy. On the right is the wrought iron tubular railway bridge that was built by Robert Stephenson.
In the centre is the Conwy Suspension Bridge, one of the first road suspension bridges in the world. It was built by Thomas Telford in 1826. The suspension bridge is only open to pedestrians and it is now in the care of the National Trust.
Three Snowhill.
The 3 cores are at full height, while the steelwork slowly starts to go up.
And on the core facing St Chad's Circus Queensway, they were for some reason painting it black, and at lunchtime left the message "Gone Lunch". Would assume when they came back they painted over that.
NXWM bus routes 16 and 74.
The hike began with a boat ride to the Redfish Inlet Transfer Camp. We follow the Redfish Lake Creek trail southwest as it climbs gently and steadily to the Alpine Lake (of Redfish Creek) turnoff. Take the left fork and continue south past an unnamed pair of lakes. At 6 miles, the trail arrives at Lower Cramer Lake, elevation 8340', the smallest of the three Cramers. Middle Cramer Lake has a waterfall. Upper Cramer is the largest of the threesome.
Three young armadillos, tearing up my yard. Today it was only me to fight them off the lawn, away from the flowers, off my back porch. I lost.
These are the kids of my dearest friend Satheesh…… after his marriage he had waited few years. With out children……finally god blessed him with three flowers one boy and two girls……..now he is the most proud father I had ever seen…..but very busy too….

Three cs have had many different liverys in its time, this being the most latest. Before now this was in white, other liverys were soames liverys, just with three cs written down the side instead. Others have been red and the first one was green and yellow (the leopard)

Balbina forest, Bandeira, Minas Gerais state, Brazil.
Six toes, actually... It's the only endangered jacamar, formerly occurring widely in the Atlantic Forest region, but now restricted to scattered small patches of forest.

A portrait of my friend Jamie. Tried something I haven't really tried before and did my best to emulate the perfectly-white background you see in so many advertisements these days. I think it came out very well, I'm pleased!

Three large stones on Birchen Edge named after Nelson's ships. From right to left in this photo they are; 'Victory', 'Defiance' and 'Royal Soverin'. The names of the ships are carved into the western side of the stones. On the extreme right of the photo can be seen Nelson's Monument, erected in 1810, some 30 years before Nelson's Column in London.
