Three generations of Bristol single deck buses rest at Lawrence Hill on a wet day in July 1966. To the left is a Bristol LS whilst to the right is a Bristol MW: the Bristol L in the middle is 2291, one of the last two to survive in service long enough to display the new scroll fleetname.

The Three Graces: The Liver Building, The Cunard Building and The Port Of Liverpool Building, reflected in a tuba of the Military Band marching past.

The Three Queens visit to Liverpool on the 175th anniversary of the Cunard Line.

Liverpool, UK. The historic site encompasses a trio of landmarks, built on the site of the former George's Dock and referred to since at least 2000 as 'The Three Graces': From left to right:

Royal Liver Building, built between 1908 and 1911 and designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas. It is a grade I listed building consisting of two clock towers, both crowned by mythical Liver Birds. The building is the headquarters of the Royal Liver Friendly Society.

Cunard Building, constructed between 1914 and 1916 and a grade II* listed building. It is the former headquarters of the Cunard Line shipping company.

Port of Liverpool Building, built from 1903 to 1907 and also grade II* listed. It is the former home of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board.

Three Magnificent Frigatebirds over Fort Jeffesrson, Garden Key, Dry Tortugas National Park

This species feeds mainly on fish, and also attacks other seabirds to force them to disgorge their meals. Frigatebirds never land on water, and always take their food items in flight. (Wikipedia)

Certainly all of the children were enjoying themselves on this large inflatable slide at Mega Mela - not least when three can go at once and really have fun!

Seen at London's Trafalgar Square.

This was our little Yorkie named "Bear". He looked like a "Teddy Bear", thus his name. He loved to nap between our Roombas... I guess they were warm?

Bear was probably one of the best dogs I ever owned. When he died in 2007, it broke our hearts. He was killed by a coyote in our driveway. We had no idea there were coyotes in the state of North Carolina.... until this happened. It was devastating....like losing a family member. Bear loved every person and every animal he ever saw. He was best friends with our cat, Hopsey. We eventually got another Yorkie named "Sophie". I have a photograph of her in my PhotoStream. You can never "replace" a dog. They are ALL special in their own way.

I love this size and style.

Spotted at an antique shop in Bulacan.

Barcelona, Spain.

Day three. Continuing our wandering up to the Montjuic area.

The Spanish Town is an outdoor open-air architectural museum, located on the mountain of Montjuïc, in the city of Barcelona, Spain. It was constructed in 1929, for the Barcelona International Exhibition, that was held in Barcelona that year.

Josep Puig i Cadafalch had the idea for the museum: a town in which the architecture, style, and culture of various locations from around Spain were preserved in a single place.

The museum occupies a total area of 42,000 m² or about 138,000 ft².

The aim was to give an idea of what might be an "ideal model" of a Spanish village, containing the main characteristics of all towns and villages in the peninsula. For this reason, 117 buildings, streets and squares were reproduced to scale. Pieces were selected taking into account aesthetic fit to help create a harmonious overall composition in accordance with the "village" design that had been conceived.

Swallows at Bakewell Show Ground

For the duration of the Three Apples show, Royal/T is offering a special Hello Kitty menu in addition to their regular food. I laughed so hard at the name "School is Fun Ham & Cheese Tramezzini". I actually own the sandwich maker used to make the tramezzinis and this menu has inspired me to dig it out again.

Also fun, the waitresses at Royal/T usually wear anime French Maid outfits. During the exhibit, they have added Hello Kitty rings and big puffy red hair bows to their ensembles.
