The Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Team released three rehabilitated turtles that were hooked by recreational fishermen. The Stranding Response Team released the turtles along the shore behind Neptune’s Park at 31st Street. This year’s naming theme for rehab patients at the Aquarium is “heroes and villains.” The sex of each young turtle is yet to be determined.
Ursula, a Kemp’s ridley which is the most endangered turtle species, was hooked at Virginia Beach Fishing Pier June 7. She had several lacerations, a healing rear flipper wound and corneal ulcers. Ursula was also undernourished.
Voldemort, another Kemp’s ridley turtle, is best known for his second hooking and rehab stay at the Aquarium’s Marine Animal Care Center. He was superficially hooked with a J hook baited with squid by a fisherman on the Buckroe Fishing Pier July 2. He quickly recovered from that injury, was released and then was hooked again three days later but this time at Naval Station Norfolk. This hook required surgery as it was lodged in his esophagus.
Green Goblin, the only green sea turtle among the group, was found on the bank of Owls Creek July 5. He was hooked through his right upper and lower eyelids with a J hook which was easily removed by the team. They also discovered a plastron (shell) fracture which has now stabilized.
The Stranding Response Team urges anyone who sees a hooked turtle to call the 24-hour hotline 757 385-7575. While you wait for assistance, do not pull a turtle up on the line which causes further injury but scoop it with a net. Then keep the turtle shaded and wet. Most of all, do not fish if you see turtles nearby.

Large windows are in the corner of one of several barns still standing in the Dairy that once supported Northern State Hospital for the Insane.
Three of our five cats, Bonkers leaving his chigura/cat house, Norio resting on my backpack on the suitcase, and Tigger on her favorite mat, in the living room this morning. Norio and Tigger were enjoying the warm sun from the southern windows after a cool night.

Three Sisters from three neighbouring states! MPRTC, MSRTC and GSRTC pose together at Shirdi. MPRTC isn't really a corporation - those buses are owned and operated by private operators, who operate under the banner "Madhya Pradesh Parivahan" (translating to Madhya Pradesh Transport).
I spent three weeks in the West Bank region of Palestine documenting a group of circus performers who give up their time and money to perform for the children affected by the very real conflict that is occuring there. I also spent time with protesters and documented a protest where the protesters and myself were subjected by direct fire from rubber bullets and tear gas from Israeli soldiers.
Three shapely fastback rear ends, on three 1960s cars from radically different makers. To the left, the beautiful - though mass-produced - Malcom Sayer shape that is the E-Type Jaguar. One of the most beautiful ever penned, though seen here in slightly less favoured 2+2 form.
To the centre, the hand-made approach, from Tatra of Czechoslovakia. František Kardaus came up with the basic shape, and the cars were almost all devoted to official duties.
To the right, the kit-car approach - though that sobriquet is a little unfair here - Peerless are better considered as a low-volume manufacturer. This is the GT, and in 1958, a Peerless GT finished 16th in the Le Mans 24 Hour Race. The Peerless later evolved into the celebrated Gordon-Keeble.

The Three Sisters are three sandstone columns that have become one of the most visited attractions in Blue Mountain National Park. They are located at the edge of Jamison Valley in Katoomba, New South Wales.
OK, now I added short stick trinagles to the ends of each of the nine main sticks. The short sticks do two things:
1) they add more height, since the angles they create are more acute
2) they add a little more diameter... now we might be covering 1017sqft

Do you recall, a few days ago, Michael was cutting fabric off my bolts of Sample Yardage, for me to prepare for projects? He was tossing the two-yard pieces into laundry baskets.
Miss Vivienne, the undisputed “Queen” of any laundry basket on the floor, clean or dirty clothes, fabric, or freshly folded towels…she is in first!
I mentioned in that FB post that Miss V created her own set for this FABRIC PREVIEW and here she is - right in the middle of our kitchen floor!

A Suzuki three wheeled motorcycle at the 2018 display in Bristol of numerous bikes from around the world. Suzuki is based in based in Minami-ku in Japan and in 2014 was the 9th biggest automaker in the world with cars, bikes, marine engines and even wheelchairs among it's list of manufacturers.

The Three Graces (of which this shot shows just one) are off the Oregon Coast between Garabaldi and Rockaway beach. I've loved that tree, which was the sign we were finally nearing our camp at Twin Rocks , since I was a small child.
A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to arrive just as the sun put on God's art show in the sky. I found it very difficult to chose my favorite from the dozen frames I shot.
