Located at 9th and 34th in Midtown Manhattan, B&H is the largest Camera store (warehouse) in North America and by other accounts the largest in the world. Please see the image below as well.
Inside on the second level you will find 63 Technical Customer Service Counters, each manned by an expert in the field, and connected to the most outragous up to date conveyor system imaginable. What a place, pick something you want to look at and within 2 minutes it arrives by conveyor, now that is service....:-))) I made two trips to this store while in NY recently.

This was my first night in NYC. I walked out onto the hotel patio and this is what I saw. This lone green apple was sitting on the table.
"In New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made, oh
There's nothing you can't do, now you're in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you, let's hear it for New York" -
Jay-Z - Empire State Of Mind
This is a panorama from the Lake in Central Park, 3 exposures stitched in CS4. If you have a second, it really is easier to see large!
My New York shots will be in no particular order of my visit, just whichever ones I'm in the mood to upload!
Thank you as always for all of your visits, comments and faves, they are much appreciated!!!
Do See this Large if you have time...!!
This is the westbound view of Manhattan as seen from the Empire State Building. That is New Jersey just beyond the Hudson River.
For those interested I have placed notes over some of the better known landmarks in this scene.
Sunset over Manhattan from Brooklyn bridge park. A little underexposed, but there is too much noise when I bring up the shadows so I left it a little on the dark side in the foreground. This is a very popular spot for photographers and there were a dozen or so jockeying for position on this evening. Next time I'm in New York, I'm going to go back and try to re-do this.
I would like to thank everyone for your comments, emails and wishes while I have been away. Time for photography has been quite limited, although I hope to get back into the swing of things again now.
I wish you all a Happy New Year.
Its good to be back. :)

These fine young ladies were working the crowds passing by the Direct TV Headquarters in Midtown Manhattan NYC. Besides greeting you with a smile they were handing out Direct TV Sports Towels.
They were excited when I offered to do a promotional pic for them, in return I got this shot and two towels....:-)))
There is hardly an intersection in Manhattan that isn't interesting, often the buildings are a combination of old and new, and somehow that works so well in NYC. I can't remember this intersection but it is somewhere in midtown Manhattan....
Want to have some fun shopping...take a look at this on original full size, lots going on..:-))
