Taken during a walk through Hoboken, NJ, i really like how there were no cars in the road, and you can see the city in the background! Actually, there was a car coming behind me, and he wasn't too pleased that he had to wait while I stopped to get a picture!

Thanks for the visits my friends!
I took this photo outside of the Majestic theater on Broadway. My sister-in-law, Brenda, my niece and I were privileged to be able to go and see this amazing play. I've seen it twice now and would love to see it again. This brilliant play should be something that everyone is able to experience at least once in their life.
I love all forms of the Phantom of the Opera!!! And in my humble opinion, I feel that Gerard Butler did a fantastic job in the movie!! I know that many felt that he was a "weak Phantom" but I didn't think so!! The movie was phenomenally similar to the play and I LOVED it as well!!
Here is the trailer for this amazing movie!! If you haven't seen it you should!! It is magnificent! (If you like this type of thing!! ^_^)
Ok, I really need to buckle down and study for my biology test tomorrow... I'll try to get back on sometime soon!! Take care my friends!! And thank you all for your support!!

So I thought that I would switch it up a bit today...ok, well maybe switch it up a lot, haha This is from our trip to New York last summer. I originally took a 7 exposure HDR...didn't like it...so then I processed just this shot...didn't like it...then I did a single RAW HDR from this file...eh....didn't like it. THEN I got Color Effex Pro, found this filter and thought holy crap this is freakin' COOL! haha
So here you go, presented in pseudo-IR. I think it came out pretty cool, a little psychadelic, but you have to keep people on their toes, don't want you guys getting bored! And I left the halo in there, thought it added to the effect!
Thanks for all of the support my friends!!
I don't mind invitations, but please no big, shiny, flashing, glitter graphics, they will be deleted. Also, please contact me if you would like to use my pictures for any reason, as all rights are reserved. Thanks!

This sweet little lady when up to the officer and told him that I was photography them. Next thing you know three of them where looking at me, I hesitated and immediately pointed the camera to one of the building like if I was photographing it. For the first time I hesitated. Then I thought to my self, I’m not doing nothing wrong so I approached them with a smile and the lady was still complaining. My reply to them was “NYC is a beautiful city, have a good day” and went my way…..
Taken from the top of the Rockefeller Centre (Top of the Rock) viewing platform. The Empire State Building needs no introduction with Staten Island and downtown Manhattan bathed in a beautiful sunset. I've cropped this photo for effect. No tripods allowed on the platform but I did keep trying with hand-held so have a darker twinkling cityscape to upload later.
“To get such beauty from something that has been produced from the artist's own imagination appealed to me enormously.” - Solomon R. Guggenheim

Ahh those were the days :-)
Just browsing through some old photos and decided to throw this one up on flickr.
I thought I knew the meaning of "lowdown" but this takes it to a whole new level. Don't get me wrong, I have an 18 yr old son who seems quite comfortable dressing a lesser version of this, but really!!!!!!......or have I missed something the last few years...:-)))
Candid scene from Canal and Broadway, NYC.

From our trip to the South Street Seaport. We ate at Sequoia, and it was amazing!
It was really cloudy when I took this, hence the almost "blank" sky! Single RAW tonemapped!
Thank you all for your views and comments, and enjoy your week!

And that is where I shall be, my friends, for the next three days...I will try to keep up with comments as much as possible, and will make sure to catch up on Monday! Enjoy your weekends!
This is from the last time I was in New York in December 2006, in Times Square. I just had a little old Canon Powershot then, so hopefully this next round of shots will turn out a bit better!
Myrtle avenue, Wykoff avenue, Palmetto street: a Bushwick junction. Cars, pedestrians, above the ground subway lines, below the ground subway entrances, children on bikes, a few elderly with canes and walkers, a wheelchair, cart pushers, bottle collectors, pan handlers and baby strollers. A woman speaking spanish into a microphone powered by a portable amp shouts. I take her picture as I walk by her and smile. She switches to English and warns that every day lurks as our last and that we must praise the lord, so I cross the junction carefully feeling her elongated silence. When she begins again, she is speaking spanish and I am already on another avenue looking for Grove street.
