Copyright ©2015, Flowydnew - Here's a pano that I took with my phone while in Midtown.

Old Airport diner, no a Jackson Hole Burger restaurant. Diner opened at the completion of the Pan Am Marine Terminal, in the days when seaplanes (Clippers) ruled the air. now La Guardia Airport.

Brooklyn Heights, Waterfront view of Lower Manhattan

Don't look up, the Vessel Hudson Yards

Midtown madness, that is Manhattan, sad to say this view is no more. The reckless, greed, of developers now mostly foreigners have drastically changed the skyline of NYC. Now icons of the past have been enveloped and hidden from sight. City skyline now reflects city's new personality a dump of greed gentrification

Sunset view from Brooklyn Heights, around this area is where General G. Washington made a brilliant retreat with out the loss of a single man or urgently needed equipment. If not for this move, well be speaking Kings English not Brooklynese.... Thank you G.W

Red sunset caused buy dust storms in the central plain states, and clear visibility.

Lower Manhattan and Battery view as the weather moved in

Never been so cold as when I was on this bridge

Brooklyn bridge, New York

Shot from the waterfront in Hoboken New Jersey - on a very cold day- and a large bird flying through the shot

Check this Here!!

Another fun shot taken on the Brooklyn Bridge. Now this photographer has style, if that had been me someone would have to help me up....:-)))

New York City, also known as "The Big Apple". New York State's largest city, although not the capital (that would be Albany). Manhattan is New York City's most densly populated area, also the most famous one. Lots of high rises here as this is probably the business capital of the world. Standing out among the buildings is the Freedom Tower which was raised after the 9/11 attacks. I took this picture from Liberty Island and I will be posting more of lower Manhattan in the future. Stay healthy during this pandemic time. Wash hands and avoid gatherings as much as possible.

inside the new Port authority path station, the Oculus.

This incredible structure is a testament to all, and the resilience of Freedom..

Brooklyn anchorage tower of the Manhattan Bridge. To me the prettiest of the four East Rivers crossings.

Standing on the corner. Old Corner delicatessen from the days when pastrami was king in Lower Manhattan. Now a Tacoria called La Esquina and not bad at all..

Taxi cabs work their way slowly up Manhattan during the busy & congested holiday season.

Fourty duce, looking west. Background lights on distance is Time Sq., and the alway classic art deco Chrysler Bld with her crown lit up majestically. A rareity no traffic...

Old streets of NYC, so many buildings worth keeping.

Was a small dive bar, at the foot of the 59th Street Bridge (a simon & garfunkel hit song as well) Bar resurrected the beautiful Neon sight of the Subway inn bar, that was originally under the 3rd Ave EL, that was torn down in the 50s. Well back in the city, bar and sigh are gone was hoping to get some nice night shots. Never procrastinate in Photography rule 1.... Hope to find it reborn somewhere else, wIll love to buy it and annoy the heck out of the bears. lol

The span that started it all. John A. Roebling World wonder

Sunset from Roosevelt Island, western view if East River and Eastern Manhattan. UN, Chrysler bldg and little tip of the Empire State bldg, now being hidden by gaudy highrise buildings surrounding it. Foreground 59th Street Bridge. The Bridge Simon & Garfunkel made famous... any can name the tune ??

Famous Flatiron building in the background. Foreground famous sidewalk clock at 200 Fifth Ave, built by the Hecla Iron Works and installed in 1909. Refurbished in 2011 with sponsorship by Tiffany & Co

Triborough Bridge (John F. Kennedy Bridge) as seen from the FDR in Manhattan.

View from Liberty State Park

Times Square. Arguably New York City's most crowded outdoor place. And rightfully so, as when you stand at any spot on that square your eyes are overwhelmed by the amount of light and information around you. A ton of billboards advertising anything that your mind can think of. And then you feel so small being surrounded by all these high rises. So much energy and vibe on this square. Even if it's 2.00 in the morning, there will be a ton of people wandering around and taking pictures. Maybe that's why they say New York is the city that never sleeps.

Taken handheld from atop the Empire State Building. Initially I was going to upload the coloured version, but then decided to tone it with a blueish photo filter.
