Taken from the One World Observatory. These two bridges look like their toyset versions from this height.
On the right is a standard large Japanese apple. On the left is a monster Japanese apple. 750g (26.4554 oz) and (39cm (15.4 in) around.

New York.
Veiw up 5th Ave. NYC.
Created by famed artist Tristan Eaton, the mural has already assumed the moniker “The Gilded Lady,” an artistic testament to the rich and textured history of NoMad neighborhood from the Gilded Age onward.
Face of the mural is that of Evelyn Nesbit; dubbed “Miss Manhattan” model, and chorus girl, and often considered America’s first supermodel, her face appears on many sculptures throughout the city. As well as one of the walking liberty silver dollars coins.
“To get such beauty from something that has been produced from the artist's own imagination appealed to me enormously.” - Solomon R. Guggenheim

With winds exceeding 30 MPH, lack of a tripod and pelting rain it was extremely difficult to photograph this scene, but with persitence and a bit of luck I was able to capture this image. Here, I am looking down at Manhattan from atop the Empire State Building as a storm intensifies in the distance.

One view of the area known as Time Square, New York City. This is an electrifying part of Manhattan to be seen for sure......don't forget this area on your next trip to NYC..:-)))
There's a few places of entry into New York City that give you that instant feeling of the hustle and bustle of the city. One of these is Grand Central. If you take a train/subway into the city and get off at Grand Central you walk out of the building onto the busy streets of New York. It's certainly a stir of feelings as you take in the lights, traffic, people on the streets and all of the buildings. I took this angle to the horizon as I think it adds to that impact of the moment.
A big part of this process of HDR is patience. I had to sit here for sometime and wait for a cab to pull up to the cab line. After the cab came to a complete stop, I had to snap 3 photos quick enough before it started rolling forward. I like to set my aperture at at least 5.6 but sometimes for these night shots I sometimes have to go down to 3.5 so the shutter doesn't have to stay open forever.
I plan on starting up a website of my own.... more of a blog than anything else but if anyone has any suggestions or advice with these it'd be much appreciated. I'm new to this website/blogging world.
