This image was captured during an opportunity to explore a local woodland with the mist creating the soft light.
As with the previous image, this image was captured using two frames to create the single image you see here. With the gate in the centre and the two trees flanking both sides, the scene was too tempting to ignore.

I love this place! On a trip to the peak district we just had to experience a sunrise up on Mam Tor and try and get the iconic shot of the great ridge. It was freezing and windy but amazing just waiting for the light to hit the ridge. We had about 10 minutes of amazing light then the cloud rolled in (which you can see to the left of the frame) with it came snow which was an experience to say the least! I was tempted to photoshop the people out of it but I think this helps tell the story of the morning, and the attraction this ridge is and the will of people to get up in the freezing morning just to capture this moment. Its a popular shot but it had to be done.

This one's for those days where you've bitten in to the forbidden fruit, or taken the poisoned apple, just because you were tempted in to trying it. But in the end, you regret it.

“Laws and principles are not for the times when there is no temptation: they are for such moments as this, when body and soul rise in mutiny against their rigour … If at my convenience I might break them, what would be their worth?”
― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

For a better look I would say, use the flick-magnifier or check this one ... Enjoy!

It's always good to consume as much grass as possible for throwing up on the rug later!
One of the joys and challenges of being prophetic, is that we carry a dream of what we see God doing in the future.
In the meantime, we find ourselves in a gap. Today, we’re faced with trials and difficulties (James 1:2-4).
Hear God saying, ‘I am healing your perspective concerning where you are right now. And I am giving you courage to dream again!’
Connecting the Dots: Your Father Sees the Completed Picture
When you have a prophetic perspective, you not only believe what God says about your future—you can also trust Him in your present.
The prophetic journey is like ‘connect the dots’ activities that are found in children’s books.
The person who designed them has left clues to follow—dots that must be joined with a pen
When every dot has been connected, the full picture appears
You may relate to this right now, as you find yourself in transition in some area of your life. You are in a ‘dot moment’.
You have left something behind, and have no idea how to reach what lies ahead. There are prophecies and dreams that have not yet been fulfilled.
In the here and now, you can trust your Heavenly Father.
God has seen the beginning and the end. Your heart is towards Him. And He declares,‘It is good. You are good!’
God Looks at Your Life and Says, ‘It is Good!’
‘…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ (Phil 1:6 NIV)
According to the Bible, your life is a work in progress, and that’s okay! No matter where you are, know that your Father is carrying His good work on in you until completion.
Incomplete, but Good!
During times of uncertainty and change, it is tempting to become discouraged and say,‘This is not good!’
But your Father is seeing from a different perspective.
When God created the earth, the Bible tells us several times, ‘he saw it was good’. (Gen 1:4, 9, 12)
He saw good, while His creation was still in process. Before there was the earth, before there was the sky; before there was any plant or animal life, before humanity existed.
God’s work was incomplete, and yet He saw that what He had created was good.
Today, know God’s favor is towards you! Receive the courage to declare, ‘God’s work in me is good!’
Be Comforted: God is at Work in Others
Not only are you personally in a process, but those your life touches are also a work in progress.
Sometimes our hearts grieve, because there is a gap between where others are now, and the destiny we know God has for them.
Today, you may have a son or daughter, grandchild, or other close friend or family member you are concerned about.
You may be seeking change in a person or group you are ministering to, or praying for
Hear your Father saying, ‘Let your heart be at rest. I am carrying on a good work. Pray without fear and worry.’
When Jacob Encountered God
One day, Rebekah urged her son Jacob to flee from their household, because his brother Esau wanted to kill him. (See Gen 25-28)
She was distressed and feared for both her sons’ lives.
But on that very day, one that Jacob later called, ‘the day of my distress’ (Gen 35:3), Rebekah’s son dreamed of an open heaven above him.
In that place of pain, Jacob had a revelation of the goodness and favor of God. And he named that place Bethel, which means ‘House of God’ (Gen 28:17-19).
It was a ‘dot moment’ in the plan of God. He had more up ahead. Jacob’s life and relationship with God was still a work in progress.
Your Father sees not only this middle—this dot moment—but also what is to come. And He declares, ‘It is good!’
Today, let go of your worries about those you love, and those you are praying for. God is healing your perspective.
In this place of ‘the dot’—where you cannot see how God will fulfil your dreams from Him for you and others—you are in a place of Divine appointment.
Here and now, encounter the God Who loves you.

Basically, the rangers at the park warned all visitors to stay back at least 25 feet from the elephant seals. It's mating season and the males are aggressive. They're 2.5 tons and up to 16 feet in length. The distance message is also etched into the beach around each one of these majestic beasts. I'm quite unsure what these two were thinking.

"There is a sixth dimension, beyond that which is known to man..."
Deep, deep, deeper...even deeper...keep going, even deeper than that...yes, just about there, in that extreme profundity of the deepest depths and darkest darks...there, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, undiscovered (until now) and undisturbed by the entanglements of humanity, lies a Sunken Forest.
Recently, Beth and I set out on a three-hour tour...a three-hour tour...
PHOTO (used courtesy of Paul B0udreau Photography...hey wait! That's me!)
A mighty storm hit and we were tossed this way and that, topsy-turvy and all sixes and sevens without a calculator. Finally, the little craft bought it and giving ourselves as goners, down it went...and down it went...and down...and...well, you get the general idea.
Fortunately, we had baled out and jumped into a life raft. Conveniently, this particular life raft was equipped with all the latest sonar and deep-sea diving accouterments that one might be tempted to ask for from Santa Claus, especially when one had been extra good all the way up to and prior to this year's Christmas requests...I suggested a little dip until the rescue craft arrived. "Why, delighted!" she replied and off we went...
Somewhere, down there, around the 2 million meter depth mark twain, or there abouts, a strange thing happened...
Suddenly, we were transmogrified into living, breathing, underwater inhabitants of some sixth dimension... and with cell phones! How were we breathing? I don't know. How were our bodies withstanding the tremendous pressure in such depths? I haven't a clue. It was like we were in a gigantic bubble floating within the ocean. I said, in total amazement, "Like what the froog-doodles!". Beth just shrugged and started using the phone's camera app like she was a guest at the High Priestess's Coronation in the Kingdom of Bulgatoria. I followed suit...
