Temporary hydro lines for construction of the Tunnels on Huron Church Road.
The hydro lines will run across the road way and will be buried in the tunnel tops once construction is complete.
Lignes de transport d'électricité provisoires pour la construction des tunnels de la rue Huron Church.
Les lignes de transport d'électricité traverseront la route et ells seront enterrées dans la partie supérieure des tunnels une fois les travaux de construction terminés.
The penguins nest in their old concrete "caves" as well as in these white boxes, and have an indoor pool. They don't have access to an outdoor pool while their compound is being remodeled, but they do get outside when their temporary quarters are being cleaned. The Zoo's video about the new compound (in Danish) shows that it's going to be a real penguin paradise!

The typography of the characters is in bold and drawn in with a black shadow. The board that the message is written on is the back of a commercially sold sign - the embossed characters are visible from he shadows they create. Attachment to the witches hat is temporary as it is only hung with string.
Former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri was assassinated in a bombing in 2005. Apparently they're waiting until a proper monument is built to formally bury him.
Rothbury Bridge was badly damaged in the bad weather in the previous winter, and at time of this shot was closed for major repair work. To join the two parts of Rothbury during the works, two temporary bridges were put in place over the river Coquet, a single track vehicle (on which a car is seen going away from the camera) and a pedestrian bridge compete with passing place.
The new temporary circulation desk set up near what will be the temporary entrance during the construction period.
I arrived, there was no traffic. Not very interesting. Bit of traffic arrived. Still not that interesting. Bloke with a wheelbarrow? Interesting yet?

The temporary home for the drives from one of my Linux boxes so I can still access them while I perfect a fresh install on the original hardware. The AT power supply is required as the power supply in the SFF PC doesn't have enough grunt and the two black drives are running from a two channel PATA PCI card.

Note the temporary ramp between the ferry and the pier! This shuttles back and forth between the southern tip of Seil and the northern point of Luing and is the only way on and off Luing, except by boat.
Note the queue of cars waiting to board via the temporary ramp.
