The image was taken at the Jersey Shore, before the summer crowds. I was working on a composition that will include the lifeguard stand, when this dude walked right into my composition. Eventually I joined him on a mutual disconnect.

I played golf at Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire this morning and this was the best shot that I had all through the round.

Kariden Honden was built in 1639 to temporarily house the deified image of Tokagawa Ieyasu, the founder and first shōgun of the Tokugawa shogunate (also known as the Edo Period, from 1603-1868), while repairs were conducted on the main shrine of Nikkō Tōshō-gū.
Apparently, Ieyasu's grandson, Iemitsu thought enough of the shrine to keep it and expand the site with structures like this copper torii at the front approach. Now, nearly 400 years old, this is part of the 42 buildings in the greater Tōshō-gū 東照宮 UNESCO World Heritage site listing.

Although guess who is back? I hope y'all doing well during I was away. Since I was very absence for almost 3 months due to Covid-19. Now I feel a little bit better when I am back, but only a limited period of time this month. I just finally moved to new town in real life. I am starting to look for a job. Also, I'd like to say that I am so happy to see my family and friends on Second Life after I moved out rl. And I enjoyed seeing your amazing pictures on Flickr. Keep it up, all my dear friends. :)

Ik ben in ieder geval tot de kerstdagen afwezig op Flickr, zoals een aantal van jullie wel weten door drukke werkzaamheden op het werk,(Slagerij) ,die nu dit jaar door de Corona Covid-19 nog drukker zal zijn omdat alle reataurands dicht zijn en de mensen thuis moeten eten .
Ik zal zo af en toe nog wel eens reageren denk ik (in de pauzes) :-))

In any case, I will be absent from Flickr until Christmas, as a number of you know due to busy work at work, (Butcher)
which will now be even busier this year due to the Corona Covid-19 because all the reataurands are closed and people have to eat at home.

A former Grand Trunk Western SD40-2 was heading up an impressive collection of museum-worthy locomotion awaiting an uncertain future.
Every one of those locomotives would have made a fantastic addition to any railroad museum.
Alas, it was not to be as they would be scrapped shortly thereafter.
