I'm still working on my new pedalboard so I had to throw a makeshift rig together for last nights show.
The orange pedal is the Dr. Balls custom booster, my current fave.... dirty and nasty, perfect! The blue box is a Dr. Balls Klon Centaur clone, Fulltone OCD v1.4, Dr. Balls Aqua Puss clone. On top we have the Burriss Vib+ which powers the whole pedalboard as well as switches on and off the on board tremolo in the amp. Next to that is the Korg Pitchblack tuner.

Due to a car knocking our mailbox off of the post we had to construct a temporary mailbox. Another use for Tidy Cat Litter. It actually doesn't work out too bad if the U.S.P.S. would allow it (and the HOA)
1945 World War II snapshot of the Rhine River Valley, Germany, a temporary bridge across the Rhine, and the steering wheel of an Allied Forces military vehicle - WW II photo taken by the 9th United States Army Air Forces USAAF, 6th TAC --
Beginning on the night of 23 March 1945, Operation Plunder was the crossing of the River Rhine at Rees, Wesel, and south of the Lippe River by the British 2nd Army, under Lieutenant-General Miles Dempsey, and the U.S. Ninth Army (Operation Flashpoint), under Lieutenant General William Simpson. Some of Holloway's 900 series TEs have been pinched recently as buses were needed to kick off the route 34 tender win at Potters Bar. As a result, some former First examples were plucked out of storage and sent to HT to make up the shortfall, being route bound to the 91, expected to be for around eight weeks. George and I had this one, TE1746, to Caledonian Road two Saturdays running, it evaded getting photographed last week but I managed a snap shot today, 6/12/14. This one spent it's first 5 years or so at Greenford, where it began life as First DN33606. Following the loss of route E1 and E3 many of this batch have been parked up pending being found new work, though this one did actually get some use at Greenford (and seemingly Hayes) during July and August.

While Park Oaks Elementary School was being built in 1959, a temporary "school" was held in a nearby cul de sac, Calle Lirio. This photo shows the interior and front door of 2340 Calle Lirio. The interior walls were left unfinished for use as a classroom.

in a branchless forest populated with eager dialect, even/especially in these anxious times; these retired branches become crutches when congregated. and so like a bottle rocket flying right through our cutout hearts, let these words be everything we could ever want them to be, and these common fears a makeshift prosthesis to sedate our common phantom limbs.
(and when we can get our heavy hearts to love lightly, this house of cards will become a home.)

I'm constantly blown away by the intricacies of nature. I love how fragile and beautiful spider webs are. How a spider knows how to make something so perfect is beyond me. And the thing that really amazes me is how temporary it is. I mean, I'll come back to this spot in a few days and the web will be gone. The web has a purpose, and when its purpose has been fulfilled, it's just abandoned and eventually destroyed.
Halloween pumpkin, ghost, Kung Fu Panda: Monkey, Vegas, Spongebob, Pirates of the Caribbean, purple gator head, blue gator head, dogs, READ! fish, Clone Wars, Disney Mickey & Pluto. I have more than one of the ones with notes.

The File Room is a temporary physical installation and a permanent, expandable database on the internet, with all the information referring to artistic or cultural censorship. Visitors can view the site and add censorship cases. The black-metal-cabinet-walls and the darkness in the space evoke associations with oppressive institutional memory and authority. This installation, like many other Muntadas projects, brings with it in its execution, evolution and maintenance a collective spirit that is open to a public and a social space of dialogue, discussion and successive contributions. The File Room does not presume the role of a library, an encyclopedia, or even a copyeditor, in the traditional sense. It claims no scholarly, editorial or scientific authority, but instead proposes alternative methods for information collection, processing and distribution, to stimulate dialogue and debate around issues of censorship and archiving. Censorship is a crude, blatant realisation of social restraints. Such repression when public, forced and obvious is censorship. When internal, automatic, and unconscious, it is ideology.
The File Room is now considered one of the classic early works created for the internet. Muntadas’s TVE: Primer Intento; was one of the first cases posted on the site, when the artist himself was confronted with censorship. Muntadas also described it as a reaction to the political and cultural controversies in the US around artists like Mapplethorpe and Serrano, in addition to the public debate about the internet and freedom of speech in the public domain. A significant aspect of the initial installation presented in Chicago was the visitor’s access to the internet at a time when a relatively small percentage of the US population was online.
