Overview.
I'm waiting for another room to be cleared.
There I'll have a huge, old, vintage mixer
and all my other gear.
Until then this is my tiny setup.

Last December a ship rammed the weir (Dutch: stuw) in the river Maas near Grave. Water level in the river dropped some meters leaving a number of houseboats grounded. Now a temporary dam has been built for the duration of the reconstruction of the monumental weir.
Temporary film-plane modification of the Koroll 24 camera that I previously used in week 132 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

I liberally applied sellotape in overlapping criss-cross strips at the film plane.
As the name suggests, this model manages to squeeze 24 exposures out of a roll of 120 film, by using a mask to make the image size 3cm x 4cm. The edges of the film are wasted, but by using the "12 frame" backing paper markings twice, 24 exposures are made.
I removed the mask, so the full width of the film is exposed, and the frames overlap, but if a full frame is desired, the film can simply be advanced twice.
The film was expired Fujichrome Provia ISO400 slide film, which I cross processed in Tetenal C41 chemistry.
The seats which come with the van are removed to go off and get transformed into Roadtrek seats, but the van still needs to be driven around in the meantime until it's time to install the finished seats, so each van get this stylish temporary driver's seat. Sharon got a big kick out of seeing these seats.
Art Interruptions, an annual temporary art program created by the Office of Arts & Culture in partnership with the Seattle Department of Transportation, will offer ephemeral moments of surprise and reflection in the Rainer Valley East-West Neighborhood Greenway. This area includes: New Holly, Othello, Brighton, Lakewood and Seward Park. Beginning September, seven temporary installations on view in the greenway from through January 2, 2017, will inspire and enliven the route with an element of the unexpected. Art Interruptions is funded by Seattle Department of Transportation 1% for Art funds.
The artworks range from street sign paintings to a collage fabricated entirely out of aluminum soda cans. The seven selected artists include Ruben David, Melissa Koch, Vikram Madan, Ulises Mariscal, Kemba N. Opio, little talia, and Junko Yamamoto. Working with the Seattle Department of Transportation and the Office of Arts & Culture, each artist designed a series of small-scale temporary artworks to be installed on city-owned street furniture and infrastructure, including signal boxes, utility poles, sidewalks, and street trees. (Several projects appear on private property adjacent to the right of way with permission of the property owners.) This year, six of the selected artists participated in the 2016 Public Art Boot Camp, a free two-day intensive basic training overview offered by the Office of Arts & Culture's Public Art Program offered to artists who are ready to translate their exhibition experience to the public realm.
The installations include a series of stencils featuring images of various community members that bring positivity to the pedestrians of the Greenway; tiny sculptures inspired by historic and present-day forms of transportation in Seattle; and a collage of butterflies representing cultural diversity.
Arborfield Road was closed between Shinfield and Arborfield Cross between Monday 3rd and Sunday 23rd August, for realignment and drainage work.
During this time route 3 was split into two sections, with the main service curtailed at Shinfield, School Green. A separate route 3a operated from Reading non-stop to and from Arborfield Cross then on to Wokingham via the usual route.
Gas-powered Scania 425, carrying "the Leopard" branding for the route which was introduced in June 2014 when it replaced Thames Travel's route 144, is seen loading at Reading Station on Wednesday 19th August with a curtailed Shinfield journey.

A Cast Member dressed in janitorial maintenance gear appears to be sweeping up trash that unfortunately find its way onto the ground. But when he begins to sweep with his wet broom, magical art is briefly created before the sun evaporates it away.

This was pretty funny...In mid-afternoon 3 Mallard drakes flew into the pond together...and I mean together! They hit the water within a few inches of each other.
After looking at each other for a few seconds, the went up on the island and sat like this for about 10 minutes....then left together.
I am thinking that it could be that that their spouses are out hatching eggs and the boys are just plain lonely.
Due to a car knocking our mailbox off of the post we had to construct a temporary mailbox. Another use for Tidy Cat Litter. It actually doesn't work out too bad if the U.S.P.S. would allow it (and the HOA)
