These old light switches were in the corner of the Battle of Britain hangar at Duxford Air Museum. Probably walked past by thousands of people more or less unnoticed but they caught my eye. I'm not sure how old they are but they do not appear to be in use anymore, probably unsafe and anyway covered in layer upon layer of RAF grey paint.
Converted to B&W (red channel only), adjusted curves and contrast and sharpened.

My bad. Both trails are named at this site where the Lochside and Galloping Goose trails meet.
Perhaps the name Switch Bridge is derived from the fact the bridge (overpass) is where one switch es trails.
Low voltage touchplate switch. By turning the dial, you can control which light the switch sent a signal to.
Fiddly switch assembles for the footlights, before they are sealed inside weatherproof plastic.
The knots are because the heatshrink plastic sleeving won't contract to the cable width, but will close around the knots.
One set of knots is glued on, partly to simply the job, partly because I'm pushed for time, mainly because I'd lacquered the boards before I realised I needed a second knot.
The folding on the left of the board is the cable clamp, the plastic bit around the switch is to stop the heatshrink tube squeezing the button permanently down, and board is longer than you would think it need's to be because these boards are tiny and it must orientate correctly within the tube, and stay in place in use.

The switch is held in place by two clips and there is a grounding screw. I found it easiest to remove the cover almost completely. Then I had my two "assistants" hold it in place while I bent around and undid the cabling from the two clips and unscrewed the ground screw.

Switch's collabs with Uyuchagongbang are always ever so lovely. ♥ This is why they're my favourite company. ;~; Photos are taken from the Switch website.

Dilemma: Pink, or gray? The gray is more elegant, but the pink adds a touch of girlishness and springtime. And from the dress' name, I'll guess it's spring-related! I have little baby birds in my garden heralding that spring is here~ :D

The UP 6 AM Job switches some tank cars in Des Plaines. A pair of UP GP15's is a great way to kick off a day of foaming.
It took a while to take some pictures again. I've been carrying the thing around and wanting to take some winter shots, but managed poorly to do it.
Still no winter shots, but at least there is snow outside of these pictures.
