Because of the arched top and the control relief, I can't really have the screws for the switch going through the top, but the top is not thick enough to just screw it in through the normal holes, so I make these little brackets out of brass to hold them in place. It moves the screws to a thicker part of the top, and gives me a look I really like while holding the switch very securely.

Big thanks to Tyler and Joey for letting me come in and shoot the store and saving old boards for me! If you're ever on Main Street in Newark, Delaware stop in and check the place out; they just moved to this location this year!!

The telephone building leaves their windows open so you can see the huge switching systems inside. Not sure if it's a historical exhibit or if they still use them.

I've still got a fair bit of work from last summer to edit or upload. This is one from a batch in early May, I'd more or less switched to wildlife but as I was out and about in the early morning or the evening I always had a camera set up for anything else that came my way. These beautiful calm and sunny days that we had in May after our never ending winter were blissful and of course we ended up having twelve weeks of great weather, unheard of in the UK, certainly the northern half of it.
This is a video I shot with a group of friends in either late 2003 or early 2004... I forget now. It's fun to look back on especially since I 1) don't look like that any more and 2) am no longer in the "creative" field. And let's hear it for the *great* look on my face at the loading pause.
I ordered this switch when I was building the timer and thought it'd be fun to have on the mini. It will later be replaced by the digital timer.
Tis a volume switch peeps!
I added another layer to this and 'ramped it up' with the 'unsharp' tool before making a square crop.
(Would probably make a good 'squircle' if I could line the camera up properly - an idea for another day.)

Built by me, designed by the good lady. This will be welded to the engine mounting bracket on left side of bike. Note the hole above switch, this will be the location of the choke.
