Fort Lauderdale station is an inter-city rail station located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is served by Brightline, which connects Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando International Airport. The station is located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, on NW 2nd Avenue between Broward Boulevard and NW 4th Street, adjacent to the Broward County Transit's Central Terminal.
Construction for the station began in October 2014 with the demolition of existing structures on the site. The complex consists of an elevated concourse above an 800-foot-long (240 m), 35-foot-wide (11 m) island platform for the trains. The station is a modern-style structure with illuminated V-shaped columns supporting the upper concourse, echoing the designs of the Miami and West Palm Beach stations on the line. It was planned and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in association with Zyscovich Architects, and was completed in January 2018.

While waiting for the sun to set, it ducked beneath the clouds and I got some direct sunlight. Not much to look at for silhouettes or cloud color, but the side lighting was almost magical. I tweaked it a little bit using the tonemapping tool on PhotoMatix and then finished it with the typical PhotoShop levels/curves adjustments.
Another version not so overcooked.

Show your support. May she make it through the night! This sounds familiar. It is doubtful that Americans could have won the war for independence if it wasn't for France. Just 1 countries support could change the world. If we are afraid of the consequences, than we don't deserve our freedom.
It's like the global warming parable:
You're starving and have a bag of wheat seeds. Do you eat the seed or plant it. Eat it and you'll starve after the seed is consumed. Plant it and you'll starve waiting for it to grow. Point is don't get to the point of starvation before you act.
Another concern I hear is that Russia may nuc us if we help. Funny thing about Symbolic Logic. In this case it says that the "if" statement doesn't need to be true for the "then" to happen. They may nuc us anyway.
It is a bit of a challenge to get into this spot under the Edgewater pier, but its worth the effort. Seeing the old pier supports sticking out of the water surrounding the pier and all these great lines and details. The monochrome treatment really helped the contrast pop, the colors on the underside and the muddy water color made this a less interesting shot.

The Christchurch Municipal Chambers has been damaged in all the big earthquakes that hit the City in 2010 and 2011. It has extensive bracing to keep it together. The building has a New Zealand Historic Places Trust Category I status. It will cost double the 5.8 million NZ dollars it was insured for.

My least used class simply because I'm used to reloading after every kill, which is inconvenient when using and LMG. However, nonetheless I loved the design and had to make it. He is equipped with an Ares Shrike 5.56, otherwise known as the AWS in the game, and an M249 on the side. A detail I included last minute was the bungee cord on his belt, made from staples and thread. I sculpted the larger pouch on the vest and the rolled up sleeves, which are the first successful sculpts I've ever made. To amplify the stereotype bulkiness of support, I crowded the vest and put more mass on the legs.
I took KalSkirata's lighting advice and changed up some settings and lighting, definitely a lot nicer turnout. Special thanks to him for that, R.Goff1 for the gloves and smaller pouch on the leg, Cygnet UD for the boot design, Tiny Tactical, CombatBrick, and Minifig.Cat for all their respective parts! This figure would not be possible without those!
Well, there's the second fig in the Battlefield line; Engineer will follow suit. Let me know your thoughts, and as always, expect more, and comment speak louder than faves!

*[I'm doing a series on the presence of the U.S. Coast Guard
in Key West Harbor. They are the ultimate border patrol for
our country's southern border. Thank You U.S. Coast Guard!]
The U.S. Coast Guard is recognized as a leader in the field of search
and rescue. To meet this responsibility, the Coast Guard maintains search and rescue facilities on the East, West and Gulf coasts,
as well as in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
U.S. Coast Guard patrols our southern border
throughout the 90 miles to Cuba and beyond
*[On a personal note: my younger first-cousin Marty ALWAYS said when we were kids that when he grew up he wanted to work on
the water with the US Coast Guard. Well, he really lived that dream!
He worked for the US Coast Guard for the last 30+ years, enduring moves from Tampa Florida, to Alaska, to Hawaii and back to North Carolina. He will be retiring with many honors within the next year.
Great job, Marty! We're all very proud of you! - Ooh Rah! *salute*]
