Penclawdd (Welsh: Pen-clawdd) is a village which is situated in the north of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea, Wales. Penclawdd is most famous for its local cockle industry which goes back for many years to Roman times.

incredible once in a lifetime sunset on waikiki beach in Hawaii. I was assisting at a workshop on the big island the week before this shot. I decided i really liked it in hawaii so i stayed for an extra week on Ohau. it was well worth it. got some incredible sunset shots and a few days after this pipeline on the north shore got huge and was some of the best surfing i have ever seen
On my way back from a wonderfully calm and quiet evening walk I came past these oak silhouettes against the setting sun.

I was at the Junior Olympics in Colorado. The time in and mostly outside of the Olympic Training Center offered many a "kodak moment" :)
Sunset at Gwithian beach in February 2012, a cold evening lead to a beautiful colourful sky with great reflections in the wet sand.

For generations, sycamore trees that line the pathway into Platán Strand, Balatonboglár’s free waterfront park on Lake Balaton’s southern shore in western Hungary have been a landmark. In the heat of the day, they provide shade to midday bathers. Later in the day, they provide visual stimulation for photographers. I took this photo on the one evening of six when I gave photography priority over the pleasures of cooling off in the water during a heat wave.
