This was tonight's sunset. I didn't think it would amount to much, but I was wrong. Happily, I didn't go out as I intended, but stayed in. Once I saw this, I knew I was in the right place at the right time.

Samboan sunset
Beautiful setting of the sun, seen from this lookout in Samboan, Cebu. The lookout is situated at the edge of the mountain, looking over the town of Oslob, Tañon Strait, all the way to the town of Sibulan in Negros.
In the evening, this lookout is graced with a cool breeze coming from the Tañon Strait enough to give you chills.
This is taken using Nikon D750 with Nikkor 20mm f1.8 lens.
One of many beautiful sunset shots I captured over lake Michigan from this past vacation. The sunsets were spectacular and seemed to grow in intensity with each passing day.

The kind of sunset we're all hoping for when we arrive at a key location and begin to setup. Just an hour before this incredible show, there was barely a cloud in the sky and I was settling in for the evening at home after a busy weekend. A quick peek out the window as sunset was approaching and suddenly the skies were formulating a recipe for brilliant colours and flair. Thankfully I could still race to an open space to witness, but sadly I was caught unprepared and with no time to get to a better location for more pleasing images. Still this is what things looked like from my neighbourhood that night. I'll take it!
