Essaouira is a city in the western Moroccan economic region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, on the Atlantic coast. Since the 16th century, the city has also been known by its Portuguese name of Mogador or Mogadore. The Berber name means the wall, a reference to the fortress walls that originally enclosed the city.
Godrevy's lighthouse sits on the North Cornish Coast roughly 10 miles to the East of St Ives.
It's set on an island 300 metres from the coast and was the scene of many shipwrecks, which was the main reason the house was first built in 1859.
A 3 photo stitch of last nights sunset. Really like the pattern the plastic on the field makes and with the distortion of the 10mm to accentuate it, I think makes for a nice foreground.

21.march 2010 a Volcano eruption started in the highlands of Iceland, or between two glaciers; Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull.
On saturday 3.april 2010 I went on an volcano adventure trip, driving over the glacier to see this wonderful force of nature!
Bringing in the New Year, I set out to the Washington Coast. It's more than a 4 hour drive, which includes a ferry, to reach the most north western point on the Continental United States. We started at Cape Flattery for the first sunrise of the new year. Our second night of the new year was on here, on Rialto Beach.

This photograph was made from Mt. Sinai Hospital. I silhouetted the buildings to highlight the intense color of the sunset and also hoping to minimize the dirt and smudge of the hospital room's window. I hope you all enjoy.
I took this shot last week at one of my favorite Central Oregon locations, Sparks lake. It wasn't really much of a sunset, but as the colors and light started fading away, I caught this moment. I also got lucky that the wind had stopped at that time, making the lake look like a mirror.
