Sunset over Ooty Hill Station, Mudumalai, South India

This photo was taken just after sunset on the second day of a canoe trip to Lake Isabella in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Northern Minnesota last year. The day had been windy, but calmed down around sunset, making for a very pleasant and scenic evening.

It's been a while since I've been able to go to a nice sunset. I'm still down with a cold bu couldn't resist. Kathy went along which was great. Too many people down at the beach on New Years Day.

Dieses Foto entstand am Strand von Westerland auf der Insel Sylt. Ich habe es mit meiner Nikon D7200 und einem 18-105mm Kit- Objektiv von Nikon gemacht. Auch habe ich einen Grau-Verlaufsfilter von Cokin verwendet. Es wurde im JPeg- Format aufgenommen und ist unbearbeitet.

little old sunset taken on a weekened away

Driving in the car, I came across this great sunset! I used my iPhone 5 from the car window to get this photo of what looks like an atomic bomb explosion!

High Island, Texas

The features on the horizon are oil pumpjacks. The bird over the sun is a Common Nighthawk...they truly are common there. "High" is a relative term here in this low-lying part of the world but it's high enough that houses do not need to be on stilts to guard against storm surges.

Went to pex hill today to take sum pics of the sun setting, it was freeeezing worth it though, got sum nice pics.....
