This beetle suncatcher is crafted from amethyst and green glass nuggets. I have soldered a 3/8" long post on the back of the beetle and this slides through your screen door or window and fastens with a bullet clutch on the back of the screen.
I had a request for a purple iris suncatcher by someone locally for a Christmas gift so I decided while the glass was out to create another one at the same time.
I little bit different from the last one I did--I modified the pattern and used different purples as well.
This one measures at 12 3/4 inches tall by 9 3/4 wide, 32.5cm by 25cm.

These 3-D Tree Of Life Agate Slabs look great as a suncatcher hanging on the porch, over a window, on the wall or adorning your favorite shelf. You can even place a tealight candle (preferably the flameless flicker effect kind) on the back of the stand, dim the lights some and you have a marvelously mysterious effect!
A fantastic holiday gift, these stained glass stars can be used either as ornaments to grace your tree at Christmas, or as suncatchers to hang in your window all year round.
These stained glass pieces are individually cut, foiled using the Tiffany copper foil method, and soldered into a unique design. No two are alike.
This larger sized ten-point star is made with four different types of glass. The larger points are an incredible combination of pastel pinks, blues and purples all swirled together, resembling the colours of a sunrise. The smaller points are made with a slightly iridized bright pink opaque-translucent glass. The round center is frosted white and clear in a sort of dotted pattern, a piece that was a part of an old blown glass lamp. Atop the small pink glass points are tiny round mirrors which reflect even more light. The mirrors are double sided (i.e., either way you hang the ornament the mirrors will show, as I soldered them back to back and then together). It is finished in silver. There is a fancy swirly wire loop on the top for hanging to attach a hook or cup as desired.

This heart-shaped suncatcher has been made from copper wire and an eclectic mixture of red beads. It measures 12cm (just under 5") long from the top of its hanging loop to its base, and is 8cm (3") wide.
It can be hung it by window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home to add a little colourful, quirky style. It would also look gorgeous hung from your Christmas tree.
I got some beautiful glass for Christmas and this was the first thing I made with it. Stained glass on a microwave platter.
This star-shaped suncatcher has been made using copper wire and a mixture of blue and green beads. The star itself measures 7.5" from the tip of the hanging loop to the base, and about 5" at the widest point of the star itself. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or perhaps on a wall or door.
I have practicing different types of photos. I took this one this morning. I had tried to catch the sun within the sun but that was a disaster. I think this is one of the best ones
This is a detail from "Suncatchers" - a mosaic mural created with 7th graders during the Spring of 2002 in San Francisco. It is located on the side of James Denman Middle School at 299 Oneida Street and is visible to the public. This is Kid Serve and Josef Norris Mural.
This was the little sun catcher I made for our swap piece. This was a clear picture frame with a metal thing holding the glass up. I just glued the wood pieces and sea gulls on the end of the metal thing. Also added some little things to look like something you might see near water?
This heart-shaped suncatcher has been made from two different thicknesses of steel wire and a mixture of glass beads in varying translucent rainbow shades. These beads make a rainbow on their way from left to right - there are small red beads then larger orange, yellow and green ones, a star-shaped green bead, then blue and purple beads. The heart itself measures 9.5cm (just under 4") long from the top of its hanging loop to its base, and is approximately 8cm (3") wide. Hang it by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home that needs brightening up.
A single emerald green glass nugget is surrounded by a burst of variating green and yellow textures and strong black lines. This is a one of a kind stained glass suncatcher. It was created using the copper foil method.
Burst in Greens and Golds measures 6 inches at it's widest point, and comes ready to hang from a strand of black organza ribbon.
I made the main heart shape in this sculptural suncatcher from 1.2mm thick galvanised steel wire. Within this heart, there is a mixture of green glass beads and grey plastic skully beads on 0.8mm thick copper wire. This copper wire also extends out of the heart shape to form a hanging loop at the top. This heart measures 8cm (3") wide, and is just under 10cm (4") high, from the top of the hanging loop to the base of the heart. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home that needs brightening up.
Thank you for taking the time to view this piece.

The third project of the week~~it always fun to put these small geometric pieces together~~plus I wanted to test how well these shades of amber harmonized together. The outer glass was from the glass stock I bought recently so don't have much history working with it. I'm happy with how they blend~~they, along with a darker amber will be going into the next project.
Pale and medium amber waterglass along with a glass gem for the center, the outer glass is a darker amber glue chip textured glass.
Measures at 8 inches diameter, just over 20cm.
