Was walking along a fairly densely vegetated path when I saw this umbellifer flower heard just catching a little bit of sun that was filtering through!

Except for Bees most insects this morning were clearly sluggish from the cold. Just a few more or less occluded rays from the Sun caught well by the 'Suncatcher' Tulip of the so-called Triumph Group. In any case, a few slow Hoverflies had found their way to Flower Brightness. Here's a Common Banded Hoverfly, quietly absorbing warmth.
A beautiful suncatcher I recently purchased for the kitchen window for Christmas. I bought it from one of my jigsaw puzzle suppliers, Bits and Pieces. A good investment at only a couple of bucks.
The Flickr Lounge-Glass
I took this at the neighbour's house. It is hanging from her apple tree. The little blue orb inside the pink sun is made of glass. I liked how the apple also looked like a little tree ornament.
Seen on a sunrise walk yesterday.
I "think" this is foxtail.

I've had this done but still trying to get better photos. Based on the starburst pattern that I've done several of~~with some modifications. I wanted to try out some of the design elements~~the 4 center 'leaves', the curved border and the leaves within the border~~before using the ideas in a larger piece.
The shades of Waterglass for the leaves, starting in the center is the light green working outwards to emerald green~~they are so closely related in the same hue that the colors seem to blend together.
Measures 11 1/2 inches diameter, 29cm.

The scenic, Steveston Heritage Fishing Villiage is a charming & ever so romantic fishing village that is situated in Richmond BC on the Mighty Fraser River
Definitely one of British Columbia's best kept secrets.

I have a crystal suncatcher hanging in my window. I looked up at the wall behind my desk and one of the spectrum reflections was shining through the base of the lamp, making a shadow on the wall.
Only editing was to add a little extra shadow to give more depth to it.
The mottled effect is the painted wall seen close up!
Field of Pink poppies with this one taller than the rest at sunrise.
Deliberately placed centre for this one!!!
I'm really happy with the results here--although I'm not sure if the swirls in the background are too numerous--I might change some of them if I should do this again.
Finished it measures 12 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall~~~30.5cm by 26.5cm.
Textured glass used for the wings appears sparkly with sun or any reflections behind it. Seven types of clear textured glass in the background--which was nice, I got to dig through some project leftovers and use them here.
