Lighting info:
Key light: strobe with softbox camera right slightly out of frame about 3 o'clock.
Rim lights: Bare strobe behind subject about 3' and camera left, bare speedlite behind and camera right.

These Led/Neon lights were covering a groups DJ Decks, speakers, amps e.t.c at a early morning rave in Colwick Woods, Nottingham. The party ended up here after a live gig playing jungle, drum & bass and so forth at The Sumac Centre, in Forest Fields, Nottingham.

So tonight I went outside for round 2 of my strobe test. This time I took both AlienBee's out, it definitely came out better than attempt one last night. Working alone didn't help either, getting the focus on point was a B***H. Rocking the 40/60 Photo "Spray and Pray" t-shirt.

Strobist: Temos 3 flashes. O 580 EX II com um um Softbox III da Lumiquest à direita e acima. Um 430 EX II com outro Softbox III da Lumiquest à esqueda da modelo. Um 420 EX no chão, apontado para o fundo branco.
SB-900 in large softbox camera left as main light, SB-800 in Photoflelx umbrella with diffuser camera right as fill, SB-800 above and behind camera right in small softbox as hair light. 1/60 @ 7.1. Nikon D-700 with 24-70 ttl exposure. Triggered with SU-800.
Anthro New England 2020 is a furry convention that was held in the Boston Park Plaza in Boston, Massachusetts, USA from February 20-23, 2020. Attendance was 2,570 with $25,700 raised for the charities New England Assistance Dogs and the Massachusetts ALS Society.

a good idea to set number of the flashes, transmiter, receiver, so you get overview which battery need to be changed sometimes.(its easy to mix when all looks same)
1xNissin 622 ETTL flash, 4x Youngnuo 460 manual flash and 5x CTR-301p receiver, 2x transmitter, some diffuser and extra batteries.
►flash trigger/reiciver don't work with Nissin 622 flash
this is the original untouched picture. a flashing ufo which jumped about all over the sky. check out my set-flashing ufo for the zoomed and cropped version and allso a short video of the same object.thank you.
because this object was flashing and constantly changing direction and jumping into the distance and back i only managed to get a few pictures even though i was shooting in burst of 3 pics per second continuous. with hind sight i should of tried some long exposure shots -would of been pretty interesting for sure.
After the "Make it Rain" shot, I decided to do some shooting with strobes again. I should have cleaned the D100 before I started shooting, but I didn't really want to go out of my way for a strobe practice session. If you have one of the D3 pamphlets/flyers, you'll know where I got the idea for this shot.
Strobist info: SB-800 at 1/32 on a lightstand with a lightsphere fried high pointing downwards, but no dome attatched. A SB-600 at 1/64 was fired from the left with my hand holding and the dome from the lightsphere. Both strobes were controlled by a SU-800 commander.
