The most patient young lady ever. Sat through our class crit and equipment set-up, and then an hour in front of my classmate's and my camera. Was sweet the entire time.

Shooting in the studio is a little like having free reign in a candy store. I'm not used to having this much light so easily.

lovin my new light kit!

Even though they are cheap junk the results are fantastic! So much better than hotshoe flashes.

Got some lighting and wanted to try it out last night on Elijah's R32. Not exactly what i wanted but i guess its okay for my first strobe picture. Used a single YN-560 and walked around the car with it and blended the pictures.

Just finished editing another set of headshots for Group Health. I twas fairly dark outside today I needed to bump my iso up to ISO400 in order to balance the ambient outside. This also meant that there was a fair amount of ambient light coming from light fixtures nearby. It was critical that I white balanced correctly so as to keep the tones natural looking and consistent with other images I've done in different conditions. The building behind is outside while we are in and on the other side of the street which creates the nice bokeh (blurriness) in this image. Tis the season for headshots. Got yours?

Popped a flash and slow shutter to capture these gulls in action on the Texas City Dike.

I got lucky and was able to catch the strobe light on one of the winglets on this Delta Airlines Boeing 757-300 departing Minneapolis for Los Angeles

Pickup up some alien bee's! I was pretty excited to get outside and use them. More to come. :)
