I haven't really taken any greyscale photos in a long time...
This is one of the strobes that my brother, Oliver Sherret, uses for his portraits.
My friends noticed that I started playing with light recently. And so I (unintentionally) became my friend's go-to headshot photographer. Still learning my ways, though, so please feel free to criticize and point out where's room for improvement. Thanks!
Had a Photoshop class with Tim Buerger the other day.
Worked on some of the photos I did in a previous strobe lesson in Minato Mirai, Yokohama. Now it feels like the lesson is complete... from the shooting to the post-production.
I was never a huge fan of flashes and non-natural light but I really like the results of this class... time to practice!

lovin my new light kit!
Even though they are cheap junk the results are fantastic! So much better than hotshoe flashes.
Used small aperture and High-speed-sync flash and my trusty 50mm fitted with a 2 stop polarizer filter. Shot outside in daytime.
Got some lighting and wanted to try it out last night on Elijah's R32. Not exactly what i wanted but i guess its okay for my first strobe picture. Used a single YN-560 and walked around the car with it and blended the pictures.
I got lucky and was able to catch the strobe light on one of the winglets on this Delta Airlines Boeing 757-300 departing Minneapolis for Los Angeles
Pickup up some alien bee's! I was pretty excited to get outside and use them. More to come. :)

My first real attempt at some modelling shots, my sister was kind enough to model for me.
Backlit by the sun through a large screen and camera right was a canon 430 shot through an umbrella
