just learned about the strobe on my flash. This is the second picture I took with it. (sb-24, 1hz over a 3 second exposure)

Alright, so this is for the "PANO to the Metal" challenge over at PANO-Vision. If so inclined, check out the fantastic work being displayed by 'Panoists' from around the world. Folk have just gone crazeeeee! with this innovative art form.
Now, I'm claiming this small little 'tweek' in the PANO-sabotage method as my own (really hoping someone has not already done this). Two separate 'strobe effects' were going on whilst I shook and wiggled my cell phone during pano mode shooting of my desk. First, the strobe function of my CREE flashlight was operating and pointed towards the center of things (a wine bottle in this case... Chateau de Fancy-assed 1978 I believe... maybe 2008... okay, okay! 2018! Sheesh!) and secondly; in my other hand, I repeatedly fired my Nikon SB-700 Speedlight.

Sea and sea strobes
have no idea what these are. They were part of God's creation on a small twig hanging off a tree and were very small.
Circa 1973 in my dining room. The top of a glass filled with milk with droplets from a handheld baster. Triple flash-red, blue, green filters on the strobes.
Bellows, reversed lens, film, manual everything
Focus stack (13 images) Shot withtwo off-camera strobes (Godox AD200Pro,/Godox X II L tribber). Flash A, bare bulb, mounted on overhead boom, reflected off 32 inch white umbrella slightly in back of subject, tilted backwards at 20 degrees. Flash B camera right 45 degrees, 45 degrees above and in front of subject aimed at white reflector to left of subject, modified with barn doors. 4 x 5 inch mirror placed subject right to provide fill on bottom of subject.

The can opener is from normann COPENHAGEN and is called the butterfly design, but to me it looks more like a high-heel shoe.
strobist info :
single SB900 thru white umbrella (for wider spread) from behind girl, approximately pointing to her left shoulder - to get the "cheek light" and also fall on wall. reflector on camera right.
SB900 triggered via SU4 mode.

alone in the dark...again ;) during this session i had few problems, few brushes don't work, one after another ;) i had to change because of this an idea of photo, so i started to run with strobe......and of course accumulators were unloaded! :) Fortunately i had few batteries from VARTA with me !!!!!!!! session completed :)
to lighting i used also

rally good and strong flaslight!!

Not that this strobist business is easy.
But strobe self-portraits are really tough to manage.
(Strobist info: Single Pentax AF540FGZ with snoot made from Jever beer sixpack cardboard, shooting from the right side at 1/64, angle slightly upwards from below face, shot through white cloth - for lack of umbrella -, triggered by on-camera flash in control mode.
Oh gawd do I feel geeky when I use all that gobbledegook!
But I have found out a funny way to work without a light stand: Just set up my tripod, mount my old Super A on it, and use its flash shoe to hold the strobe - works perfectly!)
