Strobist info: One Sigma ef-500 super dg placed on the table triggered using a cactus v2 radio trigger
This is from an old sequence; I just wanted to show the strobe framed with the subject and here is the result
One of those dull days so time to experiment. A flash on full power under the tree with nice coloured leaves on the path and mess around with DOF and ambient light... its a million miles away but there's promise. Have a great week, thanks for previous comments.

New and pretty umbrella adapter, but obviously (?, see further tests II and III) uneven illumination... Perhaps the angle is to high?

wondered what it would look like if I placed gels on them and put the strobes on the stairs. 4 x Sunpak 433Ds set on stairs at 1/8 power facing the wall...kind of obvious.
Wow, this went to #21 on Explore!
Oh yeah, triggered via Cactus V2s
wind turbine
just trying out an idea and didn't pay any attention to composition, would have been better without the pylon directly behind the turbine..
Pool of light obviously coming from the beauty dish (gridded) and mains head. Key light for head just outside frame right inside a gridded stripbox - parallel to floor to avoid any light spill. Silver reflector just outside frame left to fill in from stripbox. Finally, fill light into camera lens from bottom left corner of frame inside small 6" square softbox.
big props to tim www.flickr.com/photos/moiht/ for bringing out all his strobist equipment.
