If you visit London and want to visit the Natural History and the V&A museums then chances are you will pass through this tunnel which runs from South Kensington underground station and deposits you very close to the entrances of both museums. All through the tunnel are these skylights which are very old and not exactly well maintained but an interesting subject to photograph nevertheless.
The forth shot I took of yesterday mornings sunrise, this was taken about a half hour before sunrise and the colours were really quite lovely as well as the reflection on the wet sand before the tide came up .
…….This chink of light on the light switch caught my eye so a quick grab shot before the sun moved! Strip lights are a thing of the past as LED’s are the new ‘green’ must haves nowadays! Hope the week is going well, stay local & locked down to stay safe and to keep EVERYONE else safe too! A VERY BIG THANK YOU to ALL the key workers who are carrying on to benefit the rest of us - we applaud you all. Alan;-)👏👏👏👏👏

got asked to leave the shop not long after this because I didn't have a permit to shoot. Oh well live and learn (more sneaky next time lol)
It may look like a real scene, but this Chevrolet Bel Air from 1957 is a die-cast model in an 1:18 scale. I don't want to show the cars only seperated on a clean background...so I pick up a licence-free picture of a nice country road, look at the lighting scene and try to set up my light the same way. Here it is only one striplight from the rear right in a 45° angle from above. The rest is a bit retouching in Photoshop.

Das Lichtset war ein Striplight direkt von Oben mit einem zusätzlichen Diffusor, um eine möglichste weiche Ausleuchtung des Kronkorkens zu erhalten. Der Kornkorken liegt auf 3 verschieden farbigen Tonpapierblättern.
The light set was a striplight directly from above with an additional diffuser to get the softest possible illumination of the bottle cap. The bottle cap lies on 3 different colored sheets of clay paper.
