The weather was just starting to get hot again on the day when Roger, Gordon, Kalpana and I toiled up Sir Cecil’s Ride. Striding on ahead of the two lovebirds dallying behind us, Roger and I reflected on how it would soon become too hot to go walking at all. Not that that would matter to us – the Alternative Tender would soon be delivered to the PAA, after which we would be winging our way back to the UK.

The four of us caught our breath at the pagoda at the foot of Mount Butler. Kalpana performed some stretching exercises for Gordon and almost slipped one of his discs.

It took a little persuasion to get the three of them to go up Mount Butler (Kalpana particularly is not a fan of hills), and even more to convince them to keep going along the ridge to Jardine’s Lookout. Just past the quarry we came across an opening in the hillside. I squinted into the blackness, but it was far too dark to see anything, so I tossed a rock in. That clattered off the walls of the tunnel without apparently finding an end to it. Visions of snakes and bats filled my mind, and fear quickly overcame curiosity. I retreated. Onward, upward!

Travis's 'Idea' to building huge biceps stems from his combination of compound movements combined with regularly switching up exercises, which forces into a state of continuous adaptation. Getting trapped in routines leads to growth-killing plateaus. You don't have to worry about getting into a rut with the building big biceps program though because you'll never run out of routines and variations with everything he's included here.

With the foundation firmly established, Travis now gets into the actual training routines. The movements are organized into three categories: 1) mid-range power exercises; 2) fully stretched exercises; and 3) peaked contraction exercises. Squats, chins and dips are the first exercises he suggests for building big biceps. None of these are traditional bicep exercises but Travis says they're among the best movements you can do for the biceps.. These movements stress and stimulate the entire body, which means bigger gains everywhere.

In the remaining 100-plus pages Travis gets into the movements that make up the building big biceps program. I really like his detailed exercise descriptions and the fact that he also includes information about common mistakes to avoid throughout the book. The exercise descriptions are accompanied by photos showing the proper way to perform the movements. He also includes plenty of suggested routines for you to follow.

Overall, Travis lays out a winning program. building big biceps is not only thorough but realistic. It's not built on theory but his own personal experience as a Martial Artist and a strength coach. building big biceps is an easy read and the program is not difficult to follow. In my opinion, for building bigger biceps, Travis 's building big biceps program can't be beat.

Guo Chun was 12 years old when he sat in front of his television back home in the far northeast of China watching the Beijing Olympics. The 100 medal haul that took China to the top of the Olympic table, left him dreaming of one day standing on the podium himself. “When I was watching the Olympics on TV, I could not help but feel my blood boil,” Guo explained. “Having seen them fighting for the glory of the country, I feel a strong desire to do the same thing.”

Guo had his break when the head coach from a rowing academy in Guangdong Province passed through Guo's hometown and spotted his potential. “I was trying to make it as a basketball player but it’s really tough to compete in this sport. I think rowing suits me much better.” His parents were keen for him to give it a go, though Guo himself needed some persuading. “After arriving, I felt a strong dislike for the training. However to my surprise I fell in love with rowing in a short time. I am settled now.”

This is one of the best places to see surfing in the world. The surfers catch a wave and pass right below you, fifty feet away, as if you are watching from a helicopter.

Needless to say, the Point is fun for us and is a major source of tourist dollars. This is not a place where you pinch pennies.

And we are doing some of our planning really well in this area, such as the beautiful new building that houses the bathrooms nearby.

MYSTERY- by 4pm on monday, the cardboard sign was gone. No surprise there.

But the folding barriers and the yellow tapes were gone as well. What does that mean?

Woke up this morning after Burlesque Bump & Grind Class with Tammy and experienced a sharp, excruciating, debilitating pain in my lower back. I've got Scoliosis which usually doesn't give me any trouble, so I think it was a combination of all the twisting and turning the dancing demands, plus omitting half an hour of stretch exercises beforehand as I was in a rush after getting caught up at the supermarket and got to class 10 minutes after it started. I went to the physio today for massage and was chastised for not doing them. He did say though that I can keep up with the dancing as long as I do the exercises before and after every class. But if I still get any pain like I did today after dancing, even with the stretches, i should stop doing it. I'll see how I go next week, hopefully I won't have to stop doing them cos I love it so much! I'll have to start being very careful and extra-disciplined with yoga and back exercises from now on because I don't want to experience the pain I was in today again. This is me doped up on a high dosage Nurofen Plus and cuddling my "have you had a hug today"? teddy cos that always makes me feel better and also cos my other teddy bear, @charp was at work :P

I was out walking in my neighborhood yesterday, and I walked up on these two squirrels. They seemed to be playing with each other, although I've never seen anything play like they were. The only thing I could assume, is that they were mimicking the people in the nearby aerobics studio doing their stretching exercises.

According to many studies, back pain is one of the most common problems among the people of United States. You should follow a few tips to ease the pain if you notice that the discomfort persists for a few months. You have to lie flat on your back with feet flat on the stool. You must do exercise regularly. Do not forget to do stretching exercises before washing the car or gardening as it needs a lot of muscle effort. Also, remember that you should not take bed rest for more than three days. In addition, you also must avoid sleeping on a soft bed and try to not stay in one particular position for more than 30 minutes. If you live in Oklahoma City and the condition does not improve within seven to 10 days, then you should see a doctor.
