Title: The phrase 'driving into the sunset' always strikes me as being a little 'final', as in coming to an end, but sunrise on the other hand, sounds more like a beginning... of an adventure maybe!

The image: Three men walking toward the sunrise towards 3 cruise-liners which had called in to Penang's port: Norwegian Jewel (front and centre), Aegean Paradise (bow just visible with tugboat) and Mein Schiff 5 (can just make out the ship's bridge through the trees).

Note: The guy on the left of the three men walking was doing stretching-exercises as the three walked past, he wasn't attempting to relieve himself over the wall! hahaha

Note: No-one was injured in the making of this photo :))

Turned around after trying (unsuccessfully) to shoot a building and this guy was doing his stretching exercises - made a better shot than the building anyway!

She just likes hanging around like this sometimes....good stretching exercises I suppose.

At this stage he is just a ball of fluff...

A Ruddy Turnstone getting some stretching exercises in whilst the tide is too high for feeding on the rocks

Stu is seen here balanced on one leg atop the remnents of the Jubilee Tower on the summit of Moel Famau. This structure was built in 1810 to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the reign of Mad King George III. Initially there was a significant tower on top of this structure but that didn't last and the summit of this prominent but low level hill has remained as it is for the last 150 years. At just 1,818 feet this hill really does afford some fine views and is a recommended climb for anyone with easy access to the Northern Welsh border region.

Fingers crossed my achilees stood up pretty well. I will have to wait and see and keep up with the stretching exercises.

A weekend break in Bath, sitting outside a small cafe enjoying a coffee in a busy high street. Then a young lady with sports gear started doing stretching exercises, my first thought was what an exhibitionist, all around us people started dancing, ladies with prams, policemen, window cleaners the lot., some of them were very talented dancers. We were witnessed a Flash Dance, with a front-row seat, once the dance was over they all walked off in different directions, it was amazing to watch and will never be forgotten.

THANK YOU for your visit and friendship, keep safe and well.

So here is a wide open shot of Cronulla beach looking down one end . Now this really is a more typical morning beach scene during summer in Australia. You see your surflife savers in the foreground doing their stretching exercises - they always do this swing leggey thing with each other - as they are getting ready to go in the rowing long boats in the distance. These guys are super super fit - they run up and down the beach at 6 am and then jump in the boats and do some serious rowing.

Off in the distance - well that headland is where Captain Cook landed - the white 'settlement' of Australia on January 26th 1788. So on a morning pretty similar to this , almost to the day, - can you imagine what the crew thought - we have found Paradise !. And then can you imagine what the indigenous thought - who are these idiots in their crazy clothes ;).

So when they got back to the UK , from what I understand, they went and told everyone how wonderful Australia was and how warm it was. So when the next ship arrived - in winter now - they all shivered ...I always find that amusing. As I had the same thoughts myself when I 'landed' in Bondi Beach many moons ago - it was grey, rainy and cold - I could not believe it - some lessons are just never learned ;)).

The driftwood in the foreground looks like a couple of "stick" figures doing some stretching exercises as the fading sunsets last color floods the horizon. Taken at Pismo Beach California.

Currently keeping the sciatica pain at bay (although the stretching exercises are doing their stuff).

Little stretching exercises early morning...

Pied-billed Grebe (Podilymbus podiceps)

The yawn. Another one of this grebes trademark muscle stretch exercises. Here, the bird is at rest in a bed of vegetation and I have pre-focused and have my finger on the button of a shutter release cable, waiting for 'who knows what' to happen. So, when it (eventually) performed the 'yawn', I was ready to get off a shot quickly to capture this behavior.

LOL!!

Less the extra appendage this is the result of the surgery. It really was easy and painless. The good news is the big bulky bandage can come off Sunday and replaced with something that I can use my fingers. Now it's just stretching exercises because they are stiff as all get out.

But I should be out shooting sooner than I thought!!! Probably will be a bit before playing the guitar but not nearly as long as I thought it was going to be.

A question for the older crowd. Does anyone remember a toy called Six Finger? A fake finger that shot missiles and had a pen in it as well. I remember the tag line:

Six finger, six finger

Man O live

How'd I ever get along with five?

As the pair of these arrived at the setup together, the female went into stretching exercises. Perhaps she knew a camera was getting shots!

Have you done your calf stretching exercises today?

I came across this beautiful and gentle calf the other day. He was not scared and even let me pet him. A sweet moment it was.
