A fine oscillatory steam engine ,spirit fired with safety valve , whistle and regulator valve. The boiler side plates appear to come from a Bowman model but the engine with its displacement lubricator and brass flywheel do not look like any commercial model I have seen.
Avonside 0-6-0 Saddle Tank 1883 at the Ribble Steam Railway, 14th April 2012. The Ribble Steam Museum and the UK Locos websites both have the wrong picture for this loco (the latter probably as a result of the former), but I am fairly confident I have identified it correctly, due to an old photo on the RSR website of Hunslet 1954, which does not match the appearance of this loco.

Having taken on water at the end of the day, 45305 slowly moves foward and crosses the tracks in order to reverse back into the yard

WAB 794 heading north from Te Awamutu pulling the Freemason Express (part of the Lodge Tawhiri Centennial celebrations) on 23rd May 2009.
Owned by Gordon McLean, this 30HP Waterloo steamer was built in Waterloo, Ontario in 1914 & did most of its work on Smith Mills of Chinook Valley. There were only 8 of this model of which only 2 remain in existence. Classfied as a simple engine it carries 150 P.S.I. & is another attraction at the South Peace Centennial Museum

Steam engine built out of repurposed engine/ compressor parts. Combustion engine style exhaust valve. The eccentric on the cam is driving a feed water pump.
The object in the centre is a steam driven 78RPM gramophone on which passengers can play their old records. It is powered from the ships main boiler. The saw is for cutting wood to feed the galley stove.
