Soo Line 2-8-2 steamer #1003 tags along on the back of the "Plymouth mixed train", which has just made its way onto Canadian National rails at Mill. This would be my last good shot of 1003 until well after dark!

“Henbury” was an integral part of the harbour in Bristol, transporting goods and passengers through the port.

She is still in good working order and pulls a wagon for passengers on summer weekends. We spotted her last weekend, presumably getting ready for the summer season.

Out for a bike ride into town today and manged to arrive just in time for one of Nene Valley Railways brilliant steam engines at Orton Mere. Pleased to see it smoking with a few suitably placed clouds in the background.

Some neat old tractors from this show a couple of years ago. Now It's time to go to this year's show.

With a beautiful Saturday on tap, the fellas and I went out to chase the second steam-powered Fall Foliage train on the Reading & Northern to run this year, featuring the iconic R&N 4-8-4 2102 on the point, or so we thought...

R&N OSJT thunders through the signals at Milepost 73, as they approach River Road in Berne. An impressive show was put on by the crew and all seemed right. Unfortunately, 2102 suffered a mechanical issue enroute to Port Clinton, and would soon be taken off the train.

Sir Nigel Gresley is only here for a week! I followed the locomotive to Grosmont today but only managed shots as it left at 12.10 according to the station clock [if you have the urge to look at full size].
