In the UK the "Spring Double" is an Ante-Post bet on the Lincoln at Doncaster and The Grand National at Aintree.
It felt like spring this morning it probably is just a break in the weather, but it was good to get out anyway.
This shot is many years old, but it will be many more years before we can get shots like this in Big Spring Park. They "improved" the park and it will take some time for the trees to grow.
Still liking the adding text to some of my photography.
A recent picture of some flowers making a appearance in my parents garden.
Hope you like :)

There is a legend that for hundreds of years there is a spring that has unknown healing properties but only a few have been able to experience it's wonders. Many have tried looking for it and failed. Legend says that it is protected by mysterious magic and only those that are deemed worthy may be allowed into the territory of the healing springs.
Well that's what I think at least. This photo was taken deep into the mountains and took hours to get to. From hiking a hazardous mountain where at each side of your path seems like an endless drop to the trees down below, and keeping an eye on what your stepping on and forgetting to look at the magnifecent view from all directions, and fighting different kinds of insects from spiders as large as a childs hand to ravenous mosquitos that sting whenever they bite(forgetting to put on anti-mosquito has been my biggest regret). Braving the rain and walking across leech infested mud fields(I almost got bitten by a leech on the hand but it wasn't at these parts it was further down the path). It certainly was a great adventure.
I think my camera took a lot of beating from this hike because after this a big crack appeared across the screen of my camera and it is not a pretty sight. Oh and the thumb rubber grip on my camera also fell off. What an awesome day it was. I just hope my camera doesn't die on me anytime soon.
Thanks to my friend who pressed the shutter button for me because I cant do it blindfolded.
PS. water was ice cold.
