Is there anything more beautiful than the colors of spring. The reality looks currently still different. The weather here in Berlin unfortunately still gray in gray. What the heck I still have some shots from last year, this would be here so one.

Beautiful Rogers Spring is in the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. This area around the spring is a jarring contrast to the surrounding chemical desert. The water of the spring is deep and clear, and inhabited by pupfish. The outflow makes a small creek that flows for several hundred yards.

My new lens arrived on Monday and I couldn't wait to get trying it out. So yesterday after work, I headed off to Peatlands Park, Loughgall to see if I could find anything interesting.
Obviously the wide angle usually lends itself to landscapes but when I spotted the white cherry blossoms against that amazing blue sky, I had to see if it worked - this is straight out of the camera, so a positive result I think :) :) :)
Hope you're all having a good week. We've had a mixture of hail, sleet, snow and rain this week, even yesterday I got caught in the hail and snow a couple of times. It's like every season rolled into one day LOL

Green is still the dominant colour here in East Westphalia, so nature looks like spring. The met guys have announced significantly lower temperatures for next week so we will certainly face brown tones soon. River Weser below the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument, Porta Westfalica, Germany
Beautiful hot pink spring azaleas surround benches and invite passerby's to sit and enjoy the day. This could be the cover to the book, Park Benches by Christophe Chabouté..
A wonderful read about benches and the things that they witness as different people stop to sit on them.
