UP 6935 was one of the big double diesels pressed into service to meet a surge in traffic. Meanwhile, Rio Grande's 'Short Line Transfer' departs UP North Yard, returning to Roper Yard in South Salt Lake on a warm April 7, 1984 afternoon in Salt Lake City, Utah.

SPENCER: Hi Tuesday friends! We haven't been able to go on Adventures this week, even if my mummy's paw is feeling a little better. We did see a lot of baby ducks and they were very cute and also a little undisciplined and the mummy ducks were worried. Here is a picture in the pretty park where we didn't meet the peacock but we met the Non-Easter Hare. There were so many pretty flowers there!
