I took advantage of the fine weather yesterday and got down to Dunning Glen in Perthshire, Scotland, to take some photos of the Bluebells. Sadly, they weren't doing nearly as well this year due to the prolonged colder weather. So I made use of the recent rainfall to capture the burn in full swing instead. Maybe I will head back down there in a week to see if the more recent warm weather has helped them along.

On March 5, 2020 I was visiting my son at King of Prussia, PA. We went to lunch at Broadcasting Square in Wyomissing, PA. Along the building where we were eating I found nature to be budding. I whipped out my IPhone 11 Pro and started to take photo images. I would come back later and take more images with my Canon Rebel. I thought these taken with my IPhone were worth posting first. Photo Images credited to Vickie L Klinkhammer of Vickielynne Photography and Designs (VLP&Designs). Images made be used in my designs of wearable art and home essentials. Colorful ulips in planters in the inner courtyard of the Enid A. Haupt conservatory, the New York Botanical Garden, The Bronx, NYC -- April 22, 2021
Spring has taken a grip on Sydney with 31c MAX and clear blue skies easing us into what should be a ripper of a weekend!
A pretty tight crop of an image which didn't turn out that great, but since I really like the shapes of the liverleafs in the bokeh I decided to go for a bokeh only image! Hope you like this quite abstract one!
The Grand Prismatic Spring as viewed from the overlook, is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world. It has a diameter of approximately 370ft, depth of 160ft, with the hottest temperatures in the center, reaching a high of 188 degrees Fahrenheit (87 degrees Celsius). As water flows out from the center and discharges at a rate of 560 US gallons per minute, it cools and degasses, creating gradients of temperature as the water chemistry changes. The color is caused by all the heat-loving bacteria in the mineral-rich water that call the spring home.

A cold wind blows in off the sea masking the weak warmth of the early spring sun. It buffets me intermittently, as if it's trying to cause me to stumble and fall. It's enough to make me uneasy along the narrow track. I stop to put on a jacket and the ewe eyes me cautiously, deciding whether I'm a threat or not. She settles and with her the lamb. An unspoken moment of understanding, an equilibrium that can't last. I move on.
I'm sure most of you are all well and truly sick of winter and the snow........ I however did NOT get enough :(
But for those in Southern England, Wales, Scottish Highlands, Europe, the USA, and my friends in Canada with loads of the white stuff, here's a little brightness and cheeriness just for you :)
Looks much cheerier large 'L'
