diary of a unstable ME.
.
I used to keep a diary.
but no longer.
1st reason is because I'm short of time.
2nd reason is it hurts me sometimes reading back wat's was then...
I don't see the point of it now.
I refused to apologize for being imperfect.
Sometimes it is not just the big Cruise Liners that catch the eye
The ship in the background is the SS Daniel Adamson. Built in 1903 and is the UK’s last surviving steam-powered Tug Tender.

Sometimes the smallest things
take up the most room in your heart.
(These words were spoken by that well-known philosopher, Winnie the Pooh.)
You can take what you can get
I forgive but I forget
You can never sleep enough
And your alarm is going off
You wake up and you can't pretend
A dream was just a dream again
Won't you dry your eyes?
But it doesn't matter anymore
You did just what you did before
Until you realize the words
Go la la la la la
You can dip your brain in joy
When you find the real McCoy
When some pretty boys with skinny ties
With black flowers and Valentines
Try to take you home
Do you recognize that I
Have stopped before you get too high
On your own supplies
Singing la la la la
You want it, you got it
You can't take it home
You got a long way to go
I wait forever to say that you will
You have a heart to show, ohh
Well you don't have to stay inside
Don't have to run, don't have to hide
Come dry your eyes
You know you can always change your mind
Maybe I will too in time
Once we understand
No one understands at all

Sometimes you can't make it,
the best you can do is to fake it.
Sometimes you can't make it on your own…
I was tagged by www.flickr.com/people/langleyphoto/ to tell 10 things about myself. (By the way, check out this guy's stream if you haven't already. He's everything I want my photography to be)
1. I live on the coast of North Carolina in the United States.
2. I have a slight obsession with zombies.
3. I love The Smiths
4. I can play the guitar.
5. I cannot do the little tongue roll thing.
6. The furthest I've ever traveled to is Hawaii.
7. I met my wife in high school.
8. I am my own worst critic, especially with photography.
9. My favorite sport is probably hockey and college basketball.
10. I've nearly had skin cancer two times in my life, both times requiring surgery.
11. (I'll take it one step further)...I say "dude" A LOT in real life.
Happy Fence Friday, flickr-mates :-) Oh, and I"ll probably tag a few folks to play along, if they want.

This Scaup had just surfaced, and moments after the photo was taken, it dived again...
Sometimes, a Photographer manages to be in the right spot just at the right moment...!
Thanks so much for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath this photo...! Your support is very greatly appreciated.
cadere, fare un passo, superare un baratro e svegliarsi. un piccolo movimento, una grande distanza. e un piccolo spostarsi d'aria e di muscoli fa tornare alla vita di ogni giorno, alla realtà che conosciamo.
