It's 'Sitting by the Dock of the Bay' Week! A week-long photographic tribute to the scenic seaside of San Francisco.
City Kayak: One of the favorite activities we've enjoyed since the move is renting kayaks and paddling our way along the bay. It's super relaxing and great core exercise.

sometimes watching the watchers is as much fun as watching the watched...if you know what I mean.
SOOC other than the crop.Cranked up the ISO cause I didn't want to lug a tripod around the aquarium for four or five hours. Even though I've been there a bunch of times it's still one of my favorite destinations.

Sometimes it's not the colors, not the drama. Sometimes the mood is more subtle, but no less beautiful. Sometimes you have to slow down to take it in. Sometimes you don't know it, you feel it.

Sometimes we found sunset was upon us before we headed back to the the motel for the night! A storm was approaching adding a different dynamic to the Wind turbines surrounding the National Park.

After being out of service since 2007 it is great to see this historic loco back on Devon rails at the Paignton & Dartmouth Railway this morning.
Couldn't believe it when this rainbow parked itself over Broadbands Viaduct.
GWR 2-6-2 Prairie tank No 4555 was one of the original steam locomotives that worked on the Ashburton Branch during the 1960s under British Railways ownership.
In 1965, it was then purchased by the Dart Valley Railway Co and was the first locomotive to arrive on the newly preserved line. 4555 had the honour of hauling the official opening train with Dr Richard Beeching aboard in 1969.
In 1973, 4555 was transferred to the then newly purchased Paignton to Dartmouth Railway and hasn’t worked on any other heritage line since.
Later this week she will be returning to Buckfastleigh to recreate scenes from the 60s.
