...sometimes we snuggle.
When I first saw this armour set by PFC I was reminded of medieval legends and paintings of angels and demons with wings fighting for the very souls of mankind. I added Cryptid's Observer mask to give a total otherworldly look. The armour is unisex so ladies may like to try a demo too. Gild's hood is designed to go over hair too so no more hair wrangling while putting an outfit together.
All available now at the much anticipated Engine Room which has just opened:

Sometimes I am just speechless about something I see!just standing and listening to the sound of silence!
Sometimes I think that male Red-winged Blackbirds try to make up for their lack of navigation lights by calling in flight.
Sometimes, there is confusion, something obstructing my views and I need some mental lubrication. Sometimes, the photographic muse just won't kiss me. No good ideas turning up. And then I say something stupid like I love you. And do a photo even worse than that. Fuji X-E2 plus Helios 44M-7 at F11.
Sometimes when you look at the world upside down, it all makes sense. It's all about perspective.
I think this week I'll probably be putting in close to 60 hours, so I'm most likely not going to be doing much commenting. That's why I'm putting this up here.
Sometimes it's just nice to sit back and reflect on things
When the light and the subject come together in perfect harmony you occasionally take a shot that you really like. This is one of those.
There were a few new young giraffe on the reserve this year and I looked for them daily on our morning drives.

EN: The photographer was completely surprised when the last Re 4/4 II in "Swiss-Express livery" appeared in front of train 915 on the morning of 28.03.2021. According to plan, a normal red Re 4/4 II would have been assigned, but apparently there was a change.
The locomotives in this livery, along with matching type EW III carriages, were to herald a change in Swiss long-distance traffic in the 1970s. The Swiss Express was the SBB's showpiece train at the time, serving the SBB's most important transport axis, the Geneva-Lausanne-Bern-Zurich-St. Gallen route. Unfortunately, not much remains of that time and only 2 locomotives still exist in this colour scheme. Due to its advanced age, however, only locomotive 11109 is still used as scheduled, 11108 meanwhile leads a survival with overrun and towing trips. It is not known how long these two unique locomotives will continue to exist, but the time of the Re 4/4 II has definitely also passed.

Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted (Christine Caine) 💚
Sometimes everything goes right, like light, pose and camera settings come together. I thing this bods well for my season with these amazing birds.
..think that people’s hearts are like deep wells. nobody knows what’s at the bottom. all you can do is imagine by what comes floating to the surface every once in a while.
its only confusing if you believe it has to make sense.

Sometimes called the Ice Beach, sometimes the Diamond Beach it was a fascinating place to visit especially at this time of year when the sun barely makes it above the horizon.
Thank you for any comments or favs, they are much appreciated.
Sometimes as a photographer we do things we shouldn’t and go places to get a shot that is a little living on the edge. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn’t. 4 stitches later, bone chip and almost broken camera I’d say this shot was worth it, well atleast it was for me. Definitely could have ended differently but im okay
Sometimes you stand at the beginning day, reflecting on the glory of nature and how it can touch you deeply. Breathing a deep breath, and just enjoy the moment in time god granted you gaze at this marvel.

The yellow mongoose (Cynictis penicillata), sometimes referred to as the red meerkat, averages about 0.45 kg in weight and about 510 mm in length.
It lives in open country, semi-desert scrubland and grasslands in Angola, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

Good morning,
Many people who are fortunate enough to go on an African safari spend a lot of time looking for the big cats(lions, leopards , cheetahs) and potentially elephants and rhinos, Others are highly consumed with seeing and photographing the traditional 'Big 5'( lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino). For those who don't know 'The Big Five' is an old term from the bygone era of trophy hunting. Thankfully, it's a term that has often been replaced in the modern world.
While there's nothing wrong with trying to see either of the above groups of animals, soley doing so means you miss a lot of other really interesting and worthy sightings and potential images. One such example is this spotted hyena who I was lucky enough to see and photograph on my last visit to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. On this occasion, I was even lucky enough to get a quick glimpse right at the camera. Hyenas are not only well known scanvengers but also the second largest predator in all of Africa after the lion.
I always try and photograph as much diversity when I travel, be it ecological or cultural to get as holistic a representation of a region as possible.
Have a great Tuesday everyone.
