processing and fenceh - not straight, not full of light. Interesting though. No presets were used in the making of this image. Rly.
Pls to view on black - I had to crop this and it hurt. It's the least you can do. Rly

28th September 2018:
As we seem to be having some lovely weather at the moment I made the most of it this morning. Glad I did, as it's clouded over this afternoon.
I saw this Evening Primrose backlit and shaded at the same time so I tried for a photo. Not somthing I'd normally take, but I liked it. (It's SOOC).
Helpful comments as to how it looks - welcome.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
This little Red Truck sits in our t.v. room and each holiday and/or change of season, it brings along something appropriate for whatever needs to be celebrated.
This past week it also helped guard some birthday goodies, like a bunch of balloons, and some "Scavenger Hunt" clue cards for the Birthday Girl (not me) to follow in order to claim her "prize." I say "prize" because there was no gold at the end of that rainbow - it was more a case of "It's the journey not the destination" kind of Scavenger Hunt. LOL!
my green Dog would love to be shown
on Explore, so today I have tried something different in my explore attempt.

The North American cantaloupe, common in the United States, Mexico, and in some parts of Canada, has a net-like (or reticulated) skin covering. It is a round melon with firm, orange, moderately sweet flesh and a thin, reticulated, light-brown rind. Varieties with redder and yellower flesh exist but are not common in the U.S. market.

I found a couple of cans of Jackfruit in my pantry and decided to use them to make something different. It was quite delicious!

"(With) a grain of salt," in modern English, is an idiom which means to view something with skepticism, or to not take it literally.[1] It derives from the Latin phrase, (cum) grano salis.
[...]
The Latin word salis means both "salt" and "wit," so that the Latin phrase "cum grano salis" could be translated as both "with a grain of salt" and "with a grain (small amount) of wit."

I don't usually photograph food but thought I'd give it a try last February. I ended up not posting my cupcake....but when I came across it yesterday, decided to go ahead. I don't know what I'm doing when photographing food, so this was just a trial shot. I hope your week is going well.
