I walked into my kitchen this evening and spotted this, It’s deliberately underexposed by 1ev to keep the spectrum visible, the closer I got to properly exposing the scene the more the camera saw it as white light.

If you are wondering, the light was being split by passing through the fishtank which lives in the kitchen.

Shockingly, this stack of CD's (30 years this October since the first CD's/CD players on release to public) Is only 1 tenth of the number I would need to back up my hard drives, Which is why they are most definitely becoming obsolete as a storage medium.

This morning it was -6C with a windchill factor of -13C and so a roaring fire was definitely in order.

Today it is cold but sunny. Yesterday, however, it was windy, cloudy and cold with several periods of wet snow flurries (see series below).

Thanks for dropping by and I wish you a pleasant Tuesday.

This shot is just for Mr Dave Angood and his love of watches, After spending all morning in Lincoln picking pockets and mugging students (Calm down dear, just a joke) I had a collection even he would be proud of ;-)

Something different...The sun was behind me, hence the different degrees of light floating around my head...looked more like a watercolor, therefore named as such...

Hope your Monday has been swell! Thank you for your visits...

Well, today was much busier than I'd originally planned for it to be so I'm a little behind when it comes to uploading today's photo.

It was one of those days where I didn't manage to get all the things that I would have liked done, but I guess that's what tomorrow is for, right?

I did manage to pause my chaos for a couple minutes this afternoon to shoot Sweet Sunday; although even that I cut close. I was just about to get dinner started when I realized I hadn't shot yet and that waiting until after dinner wasn't an option as my prop happened to be dessert!

Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day. Back to reality for us Monday to Friday workers tomorrow.

Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin City

Searching Horst's archives to find one of his forgotton images for my friend ana-lee-smith...he took this while I was unpacking ornaments for X-mas 2006

I know that not everyone likes stuff that’s Photoshopped. But sometimes it’s good to play.

I thought I would do another foist job as I was looking through my so called experiments and found a few that I thought I might post

obviously I look upon them as experiments mostly because I do not usually do much of this and I still feel like a total newbie

I love learning but I do not want to bore anyone either

Will probably be getting photoshop next week.........whatever the new one is

(I had cs2 before)

Have a great week ahead everyone

thanks for the indulgence

I think only people with young kids that live nearby know his object exist. I never heard of this place before. I saw a picture of it , taken by an Hungarian photographer. When I was "in the neighborhood" earlier this month I knew I wanted to do a blue hour-shot. I really like those odd looking creations.

Enjoy!

A very pink shopfront, complete with a very pink Vespa…

Don't get any on the windows, we're only here to do the walls.

processing and fenceh - not straight, not full of light. Interesting though. No presets were used in the making of this image. Rly.

Pls to view on black - I had to crop this and it hurt. It's the least you can do. Rly

28th September 2018:

As we seem to be having some lovely weather at the moment I made the most of it this morning. Glad I did, as it's clouded over this afternoon.

I saw this Evening Primrose backlit and shaded at the same time so I tried for a photo. Not somthing I'd normally take, but I liked it. (It's SOOC).

Helpful comments as to how it looks - welcome.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)

I was on the beach shooting to that bird and this was the best photo of the session :)

This little Red Truck sits in our t.v. room and each holiday and/or change of season, it brings along something appropriate for whatever needs to be celebrated.

This past week it also helped guard some birthday goodies, like a bunch of balloons, and some "Scavenger Hunt" clue cards for the Birthday Girl (not me) to follow in order to claim her "prize." I say "prize" because there was no gold at the end of that rainbow - it was more a case of "It's the journey not the destination" kind of Scavenger Hunt. LOL!
