Old part of Sarajevo, Bosnia, called Bash Charshiya that means a great market or town dating from Ottoman period, Balkans..where the west meet East, where the scents and spices dance, where people are always smiling, where just walking around you will get so many invites for a coffee and friendly chat, where nobody will ever ask you where are you coming from, but how are you friend , a place from my heart...

We walked miles in Montreal Canada and came across a run down part of the city which had street after street full of buildings with graffiti and wall art. It certainly got my camera clicking.

This is my first attempt at merging two different photos together. I wanted to do something different today with my self-portrait shots...and this is what I got...I kind of like it...=)

Oh...and I am running way behind again in the comment/reply department...I will try to catch up soon!!! =)
Never in this world between the dead and deprived souls will it ever cease..."Here, I present to you some of the love you so dearly seek", devious smile as you sign her cunning lease; I only now realize her beautiful name meant my demise in war not everlasting peace. Thunder deafens my cries of defeat, I truly did not expect those thought to be so close of twisting the knife called deceit...Be mindful when you are suddenly lifted up high, alone are you not in this stormy sky? No, I do not blame but rather mourn those drawn to this enigmatic lie...
I have a busy day but I will visit with you as soon as I can. I hope you have a good day!!
The ice storm did miss us!! We were supposed to get ice and snow and it didn't even rain today!! I miss the snow but not the ice!

Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia. Just outside her house are these cat statues. Betsy Ross (January 1, 1752 – January 30, 1836), born Elizabeth Griscom and also known by her second and third married names Elizabeth Ashburn and Elizabeth Claypoole, is widely credited with making the first American flag. Betsy Ross: Her Life
One year before William Penn founded Philadelphia in 1681, Betsy Ross's great-grandfather, Andrew Griscom, a Quaker carpenter, had already emigrated from England to New Jersey.
Andrew was successful at his trade. He was also of firm Quaker belief, and he was inspired to move to Philadelphia to become an early participant in Penn's holy experiment He purchased 495 acres of land in the Spring Garden section north of the city of Philadelphia (the section would later be incorporated as part of the city), and received a plot of land within the city. #LovePhilly #Philly

Can you remember your dreams?
Do you have insomnia?
(Waking up frequently and without an apparent reason?)
Do you have to get up to urinate several times during the night?

I toyed around with this (these) shot's forever tonight. I'm pretty sure I like it, but I am definitely sure I don't like looking at it anymore. You ever get to a point where you're sure if you do anything else to a picture, you won't be able to tell if you're screwing it up? That's where I am.
Tonight was pretty cool though. Not too hot and I was able to keep dry which is a big plus. I did some long exposures for the most part but I didn't get around to editing any of them. May tomorrow I'll put one up if any of them came out (haven't even looked at them yet).
I just wanted and tried hard to get something very different from my "norm". Isn't that the reason I started this hellish project again after all?

With a little help from an RGB LED light wand. This place has been photographed so many times (by myself included) I had to try something a bit out of the ordinary. Jokulsarlon black beach or diamond beach, Iceland
It's just one for all who say that "I don't do colour", well occasionally I do... (best viewed large).
In the land of dreams
Where sleep enters the path
Of magic light on wings
Glimpses of all times merged
The mystical float above one's head
Deep is the dream
A dream of reality...penetrating the mind
In all of its distinction becoming...
These moments...so sublime
Eyes closed or are they open?
All within this dream...
Care is cast away...in the slumber drift
Floating, floating, floating...
In the Land of Dreams...
