JUST got my new light modifier! Its pretty sweet, I must say. MANY more photos to come. I cannot wait to take advantage of going to Flickr Pro!

It was a box with black interior (My drobo pro storage box). I cut two windows in the sides and covered them with white printing papers. I then used Canon flashes (580) with pocket wizards as triggers. you can see some of the images. These are my first posted MACRO images. Not edited or developed

Softbox right, umbrella fill on left, large reflector below. Gelled strobe on background

The final setup

On the left on a pillow is the omnilight(sunpak auto 220) 1/1 power (not adjustable, Doh!)

Right is the Softbox I made(550EX), about 1/2 1/4 power

The strobe and cam's values on this pic are not precise, because I shot it before the final picture, and I fiddled a little with the power to get the effect I wanted.

The result:

Strobist info: 430EX fired into 24" softbox camera left at 1/64 power

Testing various subjects after I've made my first DIY softbox. The setup is:

1. DIY softbox with 24W flourescent bulb on the right,

2. 3x white sheets of A4 paper for reflection on the left

3. 100x70cm sheet of black paper as background.

When use ipad to be softbox, you need more time to light more place, so i think long exposure is necessary.
