Did a nude shoot today with Sir Mark Bruback for my Nudescapes project. Decided to do photos in my bra and panty set that I had bought awhile back but that turned into nudies as well. I'm going to post some of the others as well.
Props to Lesley for showing me this Softbox photo tricky thing. :P :)
I picked this film up really cheap, and came with a camera, lens and a bag. This is used in the Sydney Trip set.
EDIT: I got 10 rolls of this.
Strobist::
F42AM fired camera right at 1/8 through shoebox softbox. Setup shot
sasch & baby beretta; SB-? through mini softbox; sb-26 from behind onto paper wall, completely pointless; triggered by pop-up flash at 1/16th
To illuminate the couple, I used a 20" softbox with a Vivitar 285HV strobe triggered via wireless remote. Note the sandbag...it was a windy day.
Shot from a while back when I borrowed my teacher's lightbox! Haha that thing is amazing. I might buy one soon.
These are both shot with a Canon 10-22 at F11,ISO 200 and a 430EXII into a softbox at 1/16 power.
I was bored today. Found a piece of oak, a banana and a screw...
Strobist info: EX430 with homemade softbox from above and a silver reflector below. ISO 400, 1/100, f/8, EF85/1,8.
DIY, baby! I pulled down the picture showing myself using it, because I hate having my picture online. Yeah, sue me.
Shoebox w/ flash head cutout, aluminum foil tape covering the inside, and two layers of nylon sheeting from home depot. The flash sticks about 1/2"-1" into the interior.
$12 of Home Depot materials, and I've got enough left over to make another 5-10 (maybe 15) of these.

The nice thing about this film is that it naturally saturates when you increase the contrast (well, probably all films do this). Anyway, it seems easier for me to get natural color balace with this film than it does with regular C-41 film. So far, I've not had good luck with C-41.
This ECN-2 developer was mixed on my own using this recipe.
In an effort to play with my new trigger and softbox, I ran around my office like a madman accosting co-workers at their desks with this big white box and my camera.
Luckily my co-workers are really good-natured, and usually met my obnoxiousness with light hearted smiles and a ton of patience. Emily even had me re-take her photo because she wanted to get her hair out of her face.
I didn't have the first internal diffuser in the softbox, which I think would have softened up the shadows quite a bit more.
strobist info: FL-14 on full power through a 20" softbox camera left, about 20" from her face.
f/16 1/250
Curve adjustments for exposure, then wavelet decompose for skin retouching, removed some of the red, and some slight color grading from there.

Thanks to the model, Marina
Wanted to know how much more the difference in light loss of an umbrella vs a soft box. To by surprise the 50" Westcott Apollo was much more efficient than I expected. All Shots triggered with pocket wizard IIs
solo use un softbox al lado derecho del humo. y un fondo negro! trate de que el flash estuviera detras del fondo, para que el fondo salga mas oscuro
A bit of an experiment today - I thought I'd try catching some bubbles in flight. In the event it proved to be a great way of getting everything covered in soap and coming up with a fairly dubious result. Seemed like a good idea at the time!
Lighting was from a pair of softboxes, in line with the plane of focus for the bubbles and pointing slightly forwards, to keep the background black. Triggering via radio and optical slave.
Strobist: Softbox to camera left. SB-28 (I think) to camera right with gridded snoot to fill in the shadows.
It was bloody cold!
Picture:
1. The internal’s just a cardboard
box covered in silver tape
2. The externals, covered in black tape
3. Mounted to the flash and using 2
bits of tracing paper as a diffuser!
4. Not much light leaks out the back.
5. Top down view of the softbox
being fired.
6. At f/22. As you can see, the
light is very evenly spread
